Heroes Call of Duty –Sergei Kozin

Sergei Kozin (Russian: Сергей Козин) was a prisoner in the Workuta prison. He has joined the nickname “Monster of Magadan” and possessed . First he threw two guards to the ground, killing them, then he literally mangled a guard with an axe, and finally he threw himself against a metal door until it broke open and the prisoners had access to weapons. Due to his physique, it can be said that he really lives up to his nickname. Furthermore, not much is known about him.

Sergei appears in the Workuta mission and is part of the prisoners rehearsing an uprising. He shows up on the way to the elevator and helps push the coal cart with Reznov, but after opening the armory, he disappears briefly. He reappears just before the gate to the main armory. There he uses his strength to hold the door open for Mason, Reznov and the other prisoners, but shortly after Mason slips through the crack, Sergei is shot by a guard and the door falls down on him, killing him.

Info

• At some point, Sergei apparently once lived in Magadan, Russia, which explains his nickname, the Monster of Magadan. This also indicates that Sergei was in prison long before the events of Black Ops, as Magadan was known as the center of Russian prison systems at the time.
• The prisoners in the prison break part in Dead Ops Arcade are based on Sergei. They have the same character model, but have glowing eyes.
• A picture of Sergei during the breakout from Workuta can be purchased in multiplayer as a background for the player card.
• Sergei’s character model is somewhat based on that of Sergeant Lukasz Kolwalski from Call of Duty 3.
