Rojas’ assistant appears in Mission Access when he is approached outside his house by two men from the local militia. At first he tries to be friendly, however, an exchange of insults ensues and finally he draws his to shoot the two. He then executes a third man who tries to ambush him. He then notices the car in which Soap, Roach and the driver are sitting, with which they were chasing the van used by the three men from the militia.
The assistant opens fire on the van, killing the driver and almost Roach, after which the rest of Task Force 141 chases him. In panic, he flees into the streets of Rio de Janeiro, disabling some passersby alerted by the hail of bullets. After Roach shoots him in the leg, he is captured. Captain MacTavish then orders Roach, Royce and Meat to search for Rojas in the slums, while Ghost tortures the assistant in a garage.

Info

• You have to shoot him either in the leg or in the arm. If you hit him in any other place, you get a message that you killed Rojas’ assistant, which should remind you that you need him alive.
• When he hits the two militia men at the beginning, he shoots the first twice and the second three times, then shoots the third twice more. After that, he shoots nine more bullets at the player’s car, killing the driver. After he runs away, you can hear six more shots falling on civilians. That means he shoots from a gun with seven bullets in the magazine 22 times without reloading.
• Just like Soap, Rojas’ assistant wasn’t supposed to appear in the game in the first place and another man was supposed to be tortured in his place, but then Infinity Ward decided to use these two characters after all.
• Unlike almost all characters in the game, he doesn’t appear in the bonus mission Museum.
