Nevski (Russian: Невский) was a Red Army soldier who appears only in the flashback of the Project Nova mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Biography
Nevski appears only in the flashback of the Project Nova mission. He fought alongside Dimitri Petrenko and Viktor Reznov to eliminate the last German forces, but was betrayed by Dragovich just like the others.
Belov, Petrenko and Vikharev were put in one chamber and gassed first, while Reznov, Nevski and Tvelin were put in the chamber next door. Due to the invasion of British troops, the trio escaped and escaped from the ship. Although Tvelin was killed, Nevski and Reznov made it off the ship before the explosive charges submerged the entire carrier. Nevski fled into the ice desert, what happened to him after that is uncertain.
Info
• After Petrenko’s death, Nevski’s face is randomly generated.
• Nevski and Reznov are the only survivors from Reznov’s squad.
• When the player looks behind Nevski after you leave the ship, you can see that he only runs until the flashback is over, then he stops immediately.
• When he stops at the end, his arms look like he is carrying a gun, which he is not.
• Although Petrenko tells him to pick up the equipment, Nevski never touches anything, but simply climbs onto the snow vehicle with the others. Nevertheless, he always carries a backpack, which could mean that the equipment is survival essentials like food and water.
• At the end of the flashback, Nevski runs towards the horizon and simply leaves Reznov behind. However, it is possible that Reznov still followed behind and the two stayed together until Reznov was captured and taken to Workuta.
