Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
In Call of Duty 4, Kamarov appears several times and is a friend of Captain Price and of Gaz. In one mission Kamarov demands help from the SAS troops, in return he is supposed to tell them the location of a captured informant (Nikolai). He demands more and more from the SAS troops as they are pressed for time to free the informant, eventually Gaz threatens to throw him off a cliff if he doesn’t tell him the informant’s whereabouts. Later, Kamarov assists the SAS troops once again and at the end of the game he comes again, this time to rescue the SAS troops that remained until then.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
On October 10, 2017, Kamarov becomes part of John MacTavish’s team. His task was to escort the three soldiers of Task Force 141 with his resistance so that they can get to the steeple. When Yuri and MacTavish were holed up in the church tower, Kamarov’s job was to support Price. Makarov’s men, however, captured him and tied him to a chair and loaded him with C4. They then waited until Price stormed into the room and then he was taken up via elevator. Makarov finally detonates the C4 hanging from Kamarov and thus kills him.
