John Taylor is a character from Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and he becomes one of the targets starting from the Undercover mission.
Ethiopia – 2065
Taylor and his team, along with his former comrade Jacob Hendricks, were assigned to rescue the Egyptian Prime Minister, who was being held on an airfield. After few complications, the mission succeeded thanks to Hendricks, who extracted the minister. Taylor and his team separated from Hendricks shortly before the extraction and freed the remaining hostages at the facility.
Cyber training
After one of Hendricks’ men was critically injured in the rescue mission in Ethiopia and needs a transformation into a cyber soldier because of it, Taylor and his team make themselves available to train the player and show him all the benefits of the DNI.
Singapore & Betrayal – 2070
Meanwhile, Taylor and Hendricks go their separate ways again. Taylor and his team have been assigned by the CIA to investigate the old Coalescence Corporation facility in Singapore. After discovering that human experiments used to be conducted at this facility, the are called back to CIA headquarters, which is also located in Singapore. Taylor became suspicious that it might be a betrayal or a trap. This fear was to prove true. Thus, Taylor’s team became a target of the Winslow Agreement – more specifically – Hendricks’. At headquarters, they then brutally killed everyone present and mutilated the bodies to prevent a possible “rebirth.”
DNI infection
With the time Taylor and his team carried the DNI, a virus infected them, which slowly but surely took over and controlled the mind of its carrier.
Lotus Towers and Deal with the NRC
After being the last survivor from his old team, he made a deal with the Cairo-ruling NRC, who in return protected him in the Lotus Towers. However, in the Battle for Cairo, the Lotus Towers were attacked as it was the last real stronghold of the NRC, which lost more and more ground during the prolonged battle.
Death
After the Winslow Agreement reached Taylor’s location, he tried to escape. However, his rescue plane was shot down. With a knife, Taylor finally stood over the player, but instead of killing him, Taylor cut out his DNI to fight off the virus. Then, when both were lying next to each other and just talking, Taylor was shot by Hendricks, who was also infested with Corvus at the time.
The Frozen Forest
In the “Icy Forest”, which is called the afterlife by Hendricks, who has been killed in the meantime, Taylor again meets the player who died due to a suicide. Together they then delete the virus in the computer to take out Corvus.
Trivia
he had a relationship with Rachel Kane, which failed because Taylor became a cyber soldier and she continued to be a normal human.
Heroes (Call of Duty)
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
