Jack Mitchell is a playable character from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Early life
Not much is known about Mitchell’s previous life. We only know that he was born in 2027 in the United States and that his father was also a Marine. His best friend is also Will Irons, who was also a Marine and even served in a unit with him.
Military career
Before Jonathan Irons brought him to Atlas, he was a soldier in the United States Marine Corps. After his somewhat short career and some complications at Atlas Corporation, he eventually joined the Sentinel Task Force.
His first confirmed deployment in the game was on July 10, 2054 in Seoul, South Korea. In that deployment, he served with his best friend William. The battle came to a relatively early end for both of them, however, as William was killed in an explosion. Mitchell himself lost his left hand while trying to save his best friend and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Later, at Will’s funeral, Mitchell was offered a job by Jonathan Irons, Will’s father, which would allow Mitchell to join Irons’ private tour called Atlas. Irons allowed him a “second chance” and Mitchell was given a prosthetic arm, which would give him an advantage in combat. During the training at Atlas, a friendship was eventually formed between soldiers Ilona, Gideon and Joker – a few of the best at Atlas.
Along with his unit, Mitchell was sent on his first real mission, in which they were tasked with freeing Nigerian Prime Minister Samuel Abidoyo, which they succeeded in doing.

Heroes (Call of Duty)
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
