Grizzly is a Delta Force officer and leader of the “Anvil” team in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. His team, consisting of Thumper and Worm, initially defended downtown New York, but later went to the New York Stock Exchange to sabotage a jammer that the Russian forces had placed there.

Grizzly and his team assisted Team “Metal” in this effort, securing the entrance to the exchange to ensure that no enemy forces entered the building. Grizzly is mentioned again later in the mission “Hunter and Hunted”, where he passes on information about a Russian submarine to Overlord. He can be heard again in the mission “Scorched Earth”, where he puts Alena Vorshevsky in contact with the Delta Force.
