Special Agent Grigori Weaver is one of the main non-playable characters from Call of Duty: Black Ops. He is a member of the Studies and Observation Group and at the same time part of a unit (along with the playable character) that infiltrates the Soviet Union during the mission “WMD”. The call sign for the unit during “WMD” is Kilo-1.

Weaver, still in Operation 40, was supposed to be a Russian soldier, gathering enemy intelligence on the Ascencion group. However, he was discovered by Lev Kravchenko. As punishment, Kravchenko cuts out Weaver’s left eye and holds him prisoner. Later, he is rescued by Alex Mason and Frank Woods. This is also the reason why Weaver wears an eye patch.
Kowloon
Weaver and Hudson were assigned to arrest and interrogate Daniel Clarke on November 17, 1963 to get information about Nova 6. However, Russian troops stormed the building and the three had to fight their way out. In the end, Clarke was shot and killed and they were left with little information. The next target is Mount Yamantau.
Mount Yamantau
On February 18, 1968, Weaver and his team infitrated a Russian facility in the middle of Mount Yamantau. Their objective: to search the facilities for Nova 6 and clean out the bunkers. Before doing so, however, they raided two bunkers and then moved on down into the valley. Later, they took over the Russian communications bunker and destroyed the signal the bunker was sending. They continued to fight their way to Steiner’s compound and thus found out his position. Eventually, Russian troops raided the facility and Weaver, Hudson and Brooks had to fight their way to freedom. The facility was then destroyed by an avalanche and everyone present died instantly.
Call of Duty
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
