Farid is an allied spy from Call of Duty: Black Ops II who helps SEAL Team Six capture Menendez. Before that, however, he had to fight American soldiers so as not to cause a stir.

When he finally got to Menendez and DeFalco, Harper, an allied soldier, was arrested and Menendez gave Farid the gun to shoot Harper to prove his loyalty, to Menendez. The player can choose here whether to kill Harper or Menendez. If he chooses Harper, he will later be killed by DeFalco when the ship U.S.S. Barack Obama was attacked. However, if the player selects Menendez, he counters and shoots Farid. If the player kills DeFalco in the Karma mission, he is also killed in the Ulysses mission, but not by DeFalco, but by Menendez.
