Derek “Frost” Westbrook is a Staff Sergeant and Delta Force member assigned to the Metal Team and operating under the command of Sandman. He is one of the main characters in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Frost was born in Atlanta, in the state of Georgia. He is about 1.82 meters tall and weighs 86kg.

Delta Force Staff Sergeant

Frost participated in the Battle of New York during the events of Black Tuesday and Hunters and Hunted. His team, Metal 0-1, was tasked with destroying a Russian electrical jammer on the roof of the Stock Exchange. After fighting their way through streets filled with Russian soldiers, they manage to destroy the jammer and are then evacuated by a Black Hawk helicopter, however they are pursued by several enemy “Hind” helicopters. Frost shoots down the enemy helicopters with the Black Hawk’s minigun. The next mission is to take control of the Russian commando submarine along with Navy SEALs. This submarine carries enough missiles to destroy entire East Coast. Frost and Sandman sneak in and manage to fire the missiles at the surrounding Russian battleships, which are destroyed, forcing the Russian army to retreat.

Later, the team is to resolve a hostage situation in Hamburg, Germany, where the American vice president is being held. They are able to free the vice president and head to Paris to nab Makarov’s bomb maker named Volk after receiving information from Price about his whereabouts. Together with French GIGN special forces, they carry out the order to capture Volk alive. They meet heavy resistance from Russian forces, but thanks to the help of an AC-130 aircraft, they are able to locate Volk. Volk escapes and Frost and his allies pursue him through the streets of Paris. Eventually, they are able to capture Volk and must take him to the evacuation point. However, since this is impassable, they must move to the second evacuation point, which is near the Eiffel Tower. With the air support of the AC-130, they manage to escape. Frost’s last mission is to rescue the Russian president’s daughter, who is hiding in Berlin. After the team fights their way through Berlin, before she can be rescued, she is kidnapped by Makarov’s men.
