Billy Handsome is a character from Call of Duty: Black Ops II, appearing in Mob of the Dead.

Billy admired Salvatore DeLuca and wanted to work for him. He took care of the dirty work that Sal didn’t want to be involved in, taking out enemies of the family in gruesome ways so that it made the news. He was convicted of 116 murders and sent to Alcatraz.

On Alcatraz, Billy and his colleagues were convinced by Albert Arlington to break out of prison by taking off from the roof and flying to freedom in an airplane designed by Arlington himself. The plan failed and the crew blamed Arlington. Feeling betrayed, Billy, Sal and Finn built themselves weapons and lured Albert to the roof, where they brutally murdered him.
For Arlington’s murder, Billy and his two cronies were sentenced to death by electric chair. The execution was carried out on the morning of January 1, 1934.
With no memory of the failed escape attempt and Arlington’s murder, Billy, Finn and Sal wake up back at Alcatraz, where they try to escape again. However, before they could even get out of the cell block, zombies attacked and immediately killed Albert and Finn. Billy and Sal tried to work as a team, but when Billy couldn’t get behind Sal fast enough, Sal locked the cell door to keep the zombies busy. Billy was finished off by the zombies and entered the afterlife, where he resurrects himself to enforce Arlington’s escape plan a second time, but this time in a hellish caricature of Alcatraz inhabited entirely by zombies.

Billy and the rest of the crew later learn of the failure of the first escape attempt and how they gunned down Arlington on the roof. They decide to repeat this act. However, whether they succeed in doing so depends entirely on the players.

• Billy is good friends with Finn O’Leary and Salvatore DeLuca.
• In the English version, Billy was dubbed by Ray Liotta, who was also the voice actor of Tommy Vercetti, the main character from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Both characters share some characteristics, for example that they both always do the dirty work and sometimes don’t behave normally.
• Billy claims that he has been in the electric chair at least once. This is a reference to how Billy, Sal and Finn were executed according to the audio tracks.
• Billy is into heavy machinery like the Deathbringer or the LSAT, sniper rifles, like the DSR-50, he detests.
• Billy is the only character from Mob of the Dead who doesn’t have a nickname. Whether Handsome might be his nickname or his real last name is unknown. Handsome is English and means something like handsome.
