Archer appears only in the mission Lose Ends as a member of Sniper Team One, with whom he provides fire support for the Strike Team, consisting of Roach and Ghost. He and his partner Toad deliver an , supporting the ground team with sniper rifles, even taking out two armored trucks that were trying to escape from Vladimir Makarov’s hideout with Javelin missiles. His fate is unknown, maybe he escaped back to the original LZ, maybe Shepherd’s men got him, or maybe he went into hiding and is trying to draw attention away from himself.

• Although Archer is using an M14 EBR, the sound when he fires is from an intervention.
• If the player kills Archer and Toad at the beginning of the mission, you can continue playing, but logically you won’t hear any more spells from them, and you won’t get any support from snipers.
• Archer and Toad become invisible as soon as you enter the first room of the hideout. They continue to provide support, but when you go back, they are gone.
