Abigail “Misty” Briarton is a playable character from Survival in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
General Info
Misty is wearing a knotted red shirt and brown workman gloves. She has washed out blue jeans on with them, there are some holes on the legs. On the waistband of her pants there is a belt with some cartridges. She has brown hair and wears a ponytail. On her head she wears a green and white cap and on her belly there are some scratches. On her face, arms and chest she has freckles.
Background
Not much is known about Misty’s past, except that she lived on a farm. Her mother died for unknown reasons, while her father was killed by zombies. At some point she met Marlton Johnson, with whom she fell in love after some time. The two fought the zombies in a Hanford town until they were rescued by Russman and Samuel J. Stuhlinger in a bus. The four survivors were contacted by Dr. Ludvig Maxis and instructed to activate the pylon so that his plan to fight Richtofen and his undead army would succeed.
However, Stuhlinger began to hear Richtofen’s voice in his head, who wanted the Pylon to be activated in his own way. After the pylon was activated, the group was teleported to a skyscraper in Shanghai, China. After Russman was killed by a creature right in front of them, the three remaining fought off the undead until they too died, but Richtofen reversed the events so that his plan could be executed. Maxis and Richtofen gave further instructions to the four survivors to activate a second tower. Once that was done, the group traveled to Africa on foot. They set up camp in the desert to plan what they were going to do next. The next day, however, they ended up underground in a western town.
Personality
Misty is brash and self-confident, she thinks very highly of herself. She hates Samuel, who reciprocates those feelings, but has a crush on Marlton. She doesn’t deal with her past openly and thinks badly of it, which is why she tries to distract herself by killing zombies.
Info
Her name in the game files is “farmgirl”. She is in love with Marlton, who reciprocates these feelings. Sometimes she makes sexual innuendos, but only in TranZit. In Buried, she acts like it’s just a distraction. When punching a gun, she sometimes says that she has forgotten what her mother looks like.
Misty claims that as a small child, her pet was a monkey. On the back cover of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, you can see Misty on the bus.
Misty prefers shotguns, especially the Remington 870 MCS and the Executioner. In Buried, she says that the Olympia is her personal favorite gun. Interestingly, in the cutscene of Buried, Misty has fingerless gloves on, which can be seen when she reminds Russman of his name. In the game, however, she wears her normal gloves. In the cutscene, she also suddenly goes back to wearing her normal ones.
Due to the recent update, her face has been made a bit older.
Similar to Dempsey, Misty sometimes talks directly to the player and tells him to switch to another weapon or get ammo.
By the way, her German voice actress is Katharina von Keller, who also dubbed “Sakura Haruno” from “Naruto” and “Naruto Shippuden”.
Call of Duty
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
