Hellborn Grasp is a cosmetic item for Warlock from Dota 2, which he can wear on the ‘Weapon’ position. The item was created by Valve and distributed to owners of The International Compendium 2014. It was released on May 30, 2014.

Function

Hellborn Gasp replaces Warlock’s standard staff with one that has an animated hand on it. This makes matching movements to all the abilities Warlock casts and also replaces the icon from his third ability Upheavel, which is caused by a kinetic gem. In addition, Warlock and his abilities also receive various other animations. While Hellborn Grasp doesn’t have any other influence on the gameplay, the item itself comes with an additional Gem.

Obtaining

You can obtain the item randomly from the Immortal Strongbox. No key is needed to open it. However, the chest was only given to owners of ‘The International 2014’ compendium whose compendium is at least level 10. The number of chests received also depends on the level of that. Hellborn Grasp, like Kindred of the Iron Dragon, is distributed less frequently than the other Immortal treasures and can be obtained as a bonus.
