What is the timetable? The new PS Plus has been around since June, but subscribers will still get their free games. But first, the dates that are important for September:

• PS Plus: Games available from Tuesday, the 06. September
  • According to experience around 12:00 noon
• Possible announcement: Wednesday, the 31. August
  • Unveiling of the games often around 5:30 p.m.

Which games could come in August? Just before the official announcement, there are again plenty of rumors about which games could come for free for PS Plus Essential. We took a look at which games could be coming for free to Essential subscribers in September. Keep in mind, however, that these are just rumors that Sony has not officially confirmed either.

CoD: Modern Warfare 2019

Activision is teaming up with developer Infinity Ward to release the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II in October 2022. As a free-to-play game, this would provide another boost and more players. And in the end, people who like the 2019 title will also buy the new game in October.

Biomutant

Biomutant is an action role-playing game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world without humans. You fight with melee and ranged weapons through an open-world with lots of mutated animals.

The game has already been released for PC and PS4, with the next-gen version for PS5 and Xbox Series X now coming out on September 6, 2022, which is also the day when the new games for PS Plus will be unlocked in September 2022.

Temtem

Temtem is an MMO where you can collect and breed hundreds of creatures and compete against other players, just like in Pokémon. The game has been available in EarlyAccess on Steam and on PS4 for some time. After 2 years of development, however, it is now ready.

September 6 is the official release of Temtem, where the game will also be released for the Nintendo Switch. Again, the release is fittingly on the launch of PS Plus in September 2022.

Circus Electrique

Circus Electrique is a tactical role-playing game of a different kind. Here you take control of a colorful circus troupe in Victorian steampunk London and must figure out why the inhabitants are suddenly turning into bloodthirsty murderers. In doing so, you’ll fight against various characters in turn-based battles.

The RPG will also be released on September 6, 2022, making it a suitable candidate for PS Plus in September 2022.

The Crew 2

The Crew 2 is an open-world racing game where you can switch between different vehicles and planes. Ubisoft regularly brings new content for the racing game. On July 6, 2022, The Crew 2 received a “60 FPS update” for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Ubisoft’s racing game is also a hot candidate for PS Plus in September 2022, and a free version would also boost the online game’s player numbers once again.

Disney Dreamlight Valley

The game Disney Dreamlight Valley is similar to the popular Animal Crossing from the Switch, but with Disney license. In the game, you’ll have to build your neighborhood together with heroes and villains from famous Disney and Pixar movies.

The online magazine hitc.com points out that you can’t currently pre-order the game in the PS Store, unlike Steam, for example. Some here suspect that the game could be free for PS Plus subscribers.

What does PS Plus offer? The subscription is important if you want to use the multiplayer on your PlayStation. Because only a few games open the online mode without PS Plus.

You also regularly get cosmetics or in-game currencies from various games as gifts and have an extra discount on some games. Check the PS Store every now and then and check the PS Plus section so you don’t miss out on any bonuses for games you find interesting.

Also, saves can be moved to the PS Cloud and there are the monthly subscription games. However, you can only use them if you are currently a member of PS Plus.
