Games CS:GO Counter Strike – Team Fortress

info

Team Fortress (short: TF) is an online tactical shooter by TeamFortress Software. Released on August 24, 1996, the modification of the shooter Quake, released the same year, was the result of the work of three Australian students, Robin Walker, John Cook and Ian Caughley. Due to their success, the then still young Studio Valve became aware of the students, took over the company TeamFortress Software, founded by the three fellow students, and produced their own version of the game, Team Fortress Classic, which was released in 1999, which used the Goldsource engine and the game graphically overworked. The 2007 released sequel Team Fortress 2 not only used updated graphics with the Source Engine, but also differed stylistically from its predecessors, while retaining most of the elements of the other parts.

game principle

Team Fortress is a first-person shooter played in teams (Red and Blue) made up of different character classes with different abilities. Depending on the map and game mode, there are nine or ten playable classes in Team Fortress that complement each other or, according to the rock-paper-scissors principle, are effective or ineffective against each other. The most used game mode from Team Fortress was Capture the Flag.

In the heyday of Team Fortress, there have been a variety of maps. Due to the fact that numerous maps were created by fans or represented variations of other maps, one cannot speak of an official map canon. The maps listed here are just a selection of popular maps from Team Fortress.
