What is FUT Draft?
FUT Draft is a dedicated mode that you can play for 15k or 300 points. Each round has a maximum of four games, the more wins you get, the better the rewards will be. Logically, once you lose a game, you’re eliminated from the mode. But after paying the 15k you need to build your team first. Here you get 5 players to choose from in each position and on the bench, from which you always have to choose one player.
Once you have built your team, you can start the round again. If you get no wins or only one win, there is a high probability that you will make a loss. From two wins it is completely open. Actually not… but we’ll get to the necessary update in a moment. The game is played quite normally against online opponents (there is also an offline draft, but nobody does that).
What defines FUT Draft in FIFA 22?
What is special about the mode is the same in the past as it is today. Even in FIFA 16, it was just nice to build on cool, relaxed teams and not gamble against overly sweaty players. In addition, one always hopes for very good rewards in order to make a few coins with it. Draft to Glory is the keyword. In addition, the mode is the best way to invest FIFA Points efficiently. We already described that in our FIFA Points article.

FUT Draft Rewards : A problem for years
As mentioned above, FUT Draft has been around since FIFA 16. And since then, the rewards have never really been updated. If you are eliminated directly, you will get a FUT Draft Token with a lot of luck, otherwise a mix of bad gold and silver packs. That means the rewards are random, but there are usually only three different combinations that you can get. One win is a mix of bad gold packs and two wins mostly a jumbo premium gold pack (15k) and a premium gold pack (7.5k). Oh well. Does it get better with more wins? Not really…
If you lose in the final, you’re somewhere between 15 and 25k packs, so you almost never draw anything good. With four wins there are different possibilities. If you are lucky you will get a 50k pack, another possibility is a mix of coins, 35k and 25k packs. But that is extremely rarely the case. Otherwise EA only treats bad rare gold packs (25k) in combination with normal gold packs. That’s just not fair and far too little for four wins.
And an update would be really good for the mode. So that you really make a profit with four wins, for example you could always get 15,000 coins for four wins and packs on top of that. But you shouldn’t make a loss after such a performance. That’s not a big problem now, Draft is still fun, but changing the rewards and making them fairer would be a good step. We’ve already shown what the rewards are in the other modes . There is still some room for improvement in FUT Draft…
