EA announces news and changes to 22 Ultimate Teams. We give an overview of what will change in the most popular mode. The Weekend League will only have 20 games. Division Rivals and FUT Champions will be redesigned.

Ultimate Team is still the mode when it comes to FIFA. This will not change in FIFA 22. However, there are some news about FUT Division Rivals. We show you the most important announcements from EA.

Let’s start with an essential news: The Weekend League will have 20 games instead of 30! We already heard this through leaks, now the pre-info is true.

Ultimate Team in FIFA 22: 20 games in the Weekend League
The best news for all FUT players. The Weekend League has only 20 games. This offers us all a bit of relief when it comes to weekend recreation.

But less games also means more pressure on you. Let’s see how this will look like. Oh, and the heaviest change is coming now: The Weekend League doesn’t exist in FIFA 22 anymore!

Shocked? Relax, because EA sells us the Weekend League only under the new name: FUT Champions Finals. How the whole thing works you can read below in the article.

FUT Rivals News – With – Season s & Elite Division
FUT Rivals is again an own thing in FIFA 22. All players will start in Division 10 and of course want to move up immediately. Placement matches have been removed. Division Rivals is now a – Season -long competition tied to the entire FUT – Season . A – Season goes on for about 6 weeks. We already know the mode with – Season basis from FIFA 18.

Divisions now consist of levels and ranks. A win will move you up a level – a winning streak will allow you to move up faster. The new checkpoints save your progress and prevent you from being reset.

The checkpoints also show you exactly what requirements you need to complete to advance. For the pros among you, there’s the Elite Division.

Here everybody wants to go. The ultimate division in FIFA 22. The Elite Division is waiting for you after Division 1. There the best FUT players of the world will compete and here you will see again a skill rating system, already known from FIFA 21.

All players in the Elite Division will be ranked with the best 200 players in the global leaderboard, based on their skill rating. If you reach the elite, you will stay there until the end of a current – Season .

FUT Champions Finals replace the Weekend League
Okay, so how does the qualification for the new FUT Champions Finals work? First things first. First you have to qualify for the FUT Play-offs. Then come the FUT Champions Finals.

How do you qualify for FUT Play-offs?
In the future, the week will be divided into qualification, Champions Play-offs and then FUT Champion Finals. So you have to collect qualifying points, which you will get in Division Rivals.

Once you have collected enough points, you will automatically qualify for the play-offs and your hunt for participation in the finals will continue.

How do you qualify for FUT Champions Finals?
If you collect enough points in the play-offs, you will receive a token that will allow you to participate in the FUT Champions Finals. These take place on the weekend, just like the Weekend League.

With the token you have the choice when you take part in the finals.

FIFA 22 FUT Rewards: Division Rewards & Milestones
Rewards await you at every turn in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team mode. The best rewards in the game await you in FUT 22 again in the Weekend League – sorry – in the Finals. If you perform well here, your Ultimate Team will quickly reach a 90 rating.

At the end of the new – Season s, you will also get rewards. Depending on where you finished a division, these rewards will be better or worse. The grind is worth it.

There are also milestones. Each game that you complete brings you one step forward. So if you don’t see any land for three or four games in a row, relax a bit! After all, these games also give you important points for the milestones, which then reward you with rewards.

FIFA 22 FUT Rewards: Rewards directly at the weekend
And another news in FIFA 22 FUT! And a really nice one. In FIFA 22 you will get your rewards directly after the last match. No waiting, no uncertainty for which TOTW you play, but simply the rewards directly after! The FIFA community liked that a lot. I mean, the waiting was always annoying.

What does this mean for the transfer market?
For the transfer market it also has a strong impact. Since everyone gets their rewards on the weekend, prices will no longer drop sharply on Thursdays and rise sharply on Fridays. Means the days where the players rise and fall will change.

Was eh somehow always burdensome. Thursday market crash, Fridays costs even an Ulreich (nothing against Ulle) felt 5k and then on Sunday you get the blatant cards for nen apple and n egg thrown behind. Well, I talk too much. I’m hyped for the Weekend Leagues and the following Rewards!

FIFA 22 Squad Battles: Better rewards in prospect?
Also in the upcoming FIFA you can play Squad Battles again. The can opener to many playable katrten, such as the Icon Swaps. The system won’t change much. You’ll play against the computer, get your rewards on Mondays, and probably this mode will be helpful for a Battle Pass task or two.

Better rewards? In fact, there have already been initial leaks that the rewards will be bumped up a bit. Quite rightly so. I mean, you play for hours, win every game 12:0 and on Mondays you get 3 Gold Packs as a reward. Wow. Thanks for nothing.

How this will change is not yet known. But keep an eye on this article, we will report new information as soon as we have it.
