Icon Swaps 2 – How to get the tokens

When will icon swaps come to Ultimate Team?

Do we already have a date when the icon swaps will be integrated into FIFA 22? YES A! The first icon swaps started on December 15th, 2021.

Also in FIFA 21, EA gave us the feature at the beginning of December… this year many leaks spoke of a later release. The site FIFPlay wrongly assumed that we won’t get Icon Swaps 1 until February 18, 2022. That would have been surprisingly late. On February 21, 2022, the second icon swaps came – on March 21, the next set of tokens was released.

Was sind Icon Swaps in Ultimate Team?

With the Icon Swaps, you have to do various tasks that are displayed to you in the menu. Most of the time it’s about winning a certain number of games with a league team in Squad Battles or Division Rivals. If you managed that with a team, you get a swap/ token (in the form of a white player card). From a certain number of tokens, you can go on a shopping spree. The icons and their prices are then displayed with the SBCs – an icon pack is usually included.

Are icon swaps worth it?

In any case. At least if they come into play in time. Here you can play different modes like Squad Battles and Division Rivals, take home cool rewards and get awesome icons – for free! That’s what’s so nice about the feature, pulling through the motivation and getting a certain legend/pack without having to spend coins.
