Fortnite and The Division 2 are down for some time today. There is also an update for PUBG: Battlegrounds and we tell you when you can probably play again. If you play video games online, you have a gigantic selection of titles and services. Depending on the platform and publisher, you’ll use certain servers, and if these should fail or maintenance work is carried out, the online gaming fun is quickly over.
That’s why we inform you here in advance about announced maintenance or “down times” that you are very likely to face. Then you can better prepare for them and you won’t be unexpectedly pulled out of your game session.
Timeouts to games
This maintenance is announced for the week beginning August 15:
The Division 2
On August 16, The Division 2 is down. The maintenance work will start at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to last over three hours. So you will probably be able to play again from 12:30.
Fortnite
Fortnite is down on August 16. Starting at 10 a.m. German time, the developers will install update v21.40. It is not known how long the maintenance work will last.
PUBG: Battlegrounds
PUBG: Battlegrounds is not down on , but there may be restrictions on August 16, because there is an update without downtime for PC.
Diablo Immortal
On August 17, Diablo Immortal will be down. Maintenance will start at 2am German time and is expected to end at 4am.
World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft is down on August 17. Shadowlands, Classic and The Burning Crusade Classic are affected. The maintenance work will start at 3 o’clock. Since Classic and The Burning Crusade Classic are only restarting all realms, you will probably be able to play again at 4 o’clock. The maintenance work on Shadowlands will take a little longer and will probably not be finished until 11 o’clock.
Warcraft 3: Reforged
On August 17, Warcraft 3: Reforged will be down. You will not be able to play from 7pm and maintenance is expected to last until 2am.
League of Legends
While League of Legends is not down, account transfers will not be possible on Windows and macOS devices until October 1 due to planned maintenance.
