The days leading up to the launch of Fortnite – Season 4 can already be counted on one hand, and Epic Games continues to work diligently to build the hype for the new Fortnite – Season “Paradise, to heat up with teasers. Among other things, the developers have now sent real versions of the cornflakes to well-known Fortnite players and content creators, which previously appeared in short videos on various platforms. Below we show you all the Fortnite – Season 4 teasers / leaks so far and the info we can draw from them.
More on Fortnite Chapter 3 – Season 4:
Teaser 4: Epic Games sends out “Llama-O’s breakfast cereal,” provides clues to – Season 4 skins & books ads in Time Square
Well-known Fortnite players and content creators have (as with past – Season launches) again received mail from Epic Games for the start of – Season 4. Delivered were the “Llama-O’s breakfast cereals”, which could be seen a few days earlier as videos on various platforms (see “Teaser 3”).
Epic Games has once again booked a few billboards in New York’s famous Times Square. You can see more – Season 4 “Paradise” teaser promotional videos of the “Llama-O’s Breakfast Cereal” already shown in pictures here.
Also on the Fortnite Twitter account teasers are now appearing in the form of short messages in which certain letters are always emphasized by capitalization:
- it Consumes everytHing = C + H
- fRee them = R
- but watch Out = O
- you Might be nExt = ME
Together they make up the word “Chrome” that has been mentioned so many times.
Also an interesting new addition are the updated Fortnite images in the Epic Games, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo store. Each store has been given its own image, each featuring a – Season 4 skin – or rather, his hand sinking into chromatic liquid. The teasers confirm the skins, which were already assumed to be included in the – Season 4 Battle Pass. Read more on the page Fortnite: – Season 4 Battle Pass: Skins of Spider-Gwen, Gothic Muscle Sore, the Paradigm and others are confirmed.
Teaser 3: Various videos and new Fortnite website hint at – Season 4 “Paradise
Until this Friday (September 9, 2022), no one could make sense of the cryptic messages from Donald Mustard, but then the new Fortnite Paradise website was launched, which also mentions the start date of – Season 4. The site also features a strange soundtrack in a continuous loop – it sounds like bubbling recordings underwater (if you visit the site, the sound may be muted, but you can reactivate the sound via the speaker icon at the bottom left).
Since Epic Games has often hidden clues in soundtracks, the strange sound of the website was of course immediately chased through various analysis tools and spectrometers, but it seems that this time there is no hidden clue in it – or it has not been found yet.
But there’s more: at the same time as the website, strange promotional videos appeared on various platforms – including “Llama-O’s breakfast cereal” on TikTok. Once again, you can see the strange chromatic liquid in which Paradigma also sinks. On top of that, each video was provided with more or less meaningless information about the liquid and of course the hint that – Season 4 is called “Paradise”.
Teaser 2: Donald Mustard tweets cryptic – Season 4 clues
Donald Mustard (Chief Creative Officer of Epic Games and mastermind behind the Fortnite story) is known for posting cryptic teasers on his Twitter before the launch of the next – Season s. That’s likely the case again for – Season 4, as on September 5, 2022 dropped a 10-second video that features a light show. In a second post, he delivers the accompanying message “Light through multiple layers of glass and liquids can look so cool.”
Another tweed followed on September 8, 2022 with the message “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?” – the first line of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which is also probably related to the new – Season .
Fortnite – Season 4 teaser 1: Dark, chromatic liquid appears on Fortnite island
Apparently, the Seven’s missing person cases are all connected and Epic Games still has a lot planned with them. An important role seems to play the dark chromatic liquid, because the same seems to spread on the Fortnite island since a short time (since update 21.51). In the meantime, smaller and larger puddles of the liquid have been discovered at the DJ booth on the jetty of the starting island and on the street in front of the Neo butter shack. More puddles will probably follow in the next few days.
Leak 1: Image shows sinking hand from “The Paradigm” – is Marvel heroine Brie Larson in the suit?
Let’s start from the beginning: Earlier this month, a Fortnite image – probably the – Season 4 key art – surfaced on the European Nintendo eShop, and it was probably released too early. “Probably,” because there could also be intent behind it to fuel the rumors and hype… you never know with Epic Games. Whatever the case, the image (see below) was only live for a very short time and was quickly taken offline again. It shows a metal hand sinking into a dark, chromatically shimmering liquid.
Fans were quick to theorize that this is the hand of “The Paradigm,” which is supported by several points. First, of course, is the similarity between the leaked image of the sinking hand and Paradigm’s new, revamped design.
Secondly, Paradigm is an essential part of the Fortnite storyline so far and is expected to play a meaningful role in the future. Add to that the fact that she has been missing from the island as a Fortnite character since update 21.50, and she joins “The Foundation,” “The Origin,” “The Visitor,” and co. among the missing members of the Seven.
By the way, rumor has it that behind the mask of “The Paradigm” is actually US actress Brie Larson (Captain Marvel). She is a self-confessed Fortnite player and her voice is very similar to Paradigma’s in the last live event.
With Dwayne Johnson already revealed as “The Foundation,” it would therefore come as no surprise if Epic Games has landed the next big name for Fortnite to kick off – Season 4 with a big reveal. Incidentally, Donald Mustard has been following the actress on several social media outlets recently, which is another indication that a collaboration with Brie Larson is on the horizon.
Conclusion: What do the teasers tell us?
Well, not too much yet, unfortunately. So far, we have the three pieces of information:
- It consumes everything.
- Chrome will consume all, Chrome will be all.
- Consume everything.
Means something like:
- It devours everything
- Chrome will consume everything, Chrome will be everything
- Consume all
However, it is apparent that the chromatic liquid will play the central roles in the transition to Fortnite – Season 4 – after all, all the teasers revolve around it. Whether the Chromium has its own consciousness or is directed by another force (think Geno or Bloomwatcher) remains to be seen. It may also be connected to the new “Blob” boss, which was previously thought to be for the Halloween event.
It’s been received quite “okay” by the community so far, although there are some fears that – Season 4 will be another Chrome – Season (please don’t, I’m out of Chrome polish).
