In Fortnite, the big live event “#Collision” will start today, June 04. We will report to you about the events of the live event as well as about the server down for the new – Season 3.
What kind of event is this?
At the end of a – Season or Chapter, Fortnite regularly launches major live events. Players can join in live in Fortnite at the same time and experience the event together, or watch it streamed on the major Fortnite streamers and see their reactions to the spectacle directly.
When does the live event start?
Today, on June 04, the big live event before the start of – Season 3 Chapter 3 runs. At 22:00 German time you can participate in the event. Fortnite itself confirms this time with a countdown that you can find in your lobby.
Game mode “Collision” – How to participate
This is how you can participate:
If you want to experience the event live in-game, you should log in early. Depending on how big the rush is, it could come to overcrowded servers, which could bring queues.
For the – Season 2 Chapter 3 finale, there will be an event mode called “Collision.” You will not be able to start this mode until 21:30. You will then be matched with three other players. Should the live event begin, the hatch under your skin’s feet will open and you will be part of the final clash between IO and the Seven.
Is it possible to repeat this?
No. “Collision” is a one-time event and does not inherently offer a replay option. If you want to rewatch the end of – Season 2 Chapter 3 later, you should record it yourself or resort to YouTube videos. If that’s too tedious for you, you can of course watch a video of the event on MeinMMO.

As a reward for your participation in the “Collision” event, you will get a special loading screen and lobby music. So fighting along against the IO is worth it for you.
What happens during the live event “Collision”?
Fortnite itself already published a teaser trailer for the event of “Collision”. You can expect a fight against the IO and the doomsday machine. This initiates the end of – Season 2 and the start of – Season 3.
In the trailer we see characters belonging to the Seven bravely walking to the giant awakening “Bear Mech” to face the battle against the IO.
