What is Snip?

Schnips is part of the new Battle Pass for – Season 3 Chapter 3 and is an action figure. Players will be able to customize this skin over the course of the weeks and unlock various other styles, heads, arms, and more. When you unlock the skin for the first time, you can see on its own Battle Pass page, many grayed out boxes. Behind them, new options await you to customize the action figure to your liking. Players have therefore been hoping for lots of new heads and torsos to look cool, but leakers have now found out in the data what fans can really expect.

Reskins disappoint the community across the board

What info was found?

Reddit user Livid-Respect5357 has posted a leak of the Leaker “Hypex” published, in which it is shown what other styles players can expect for Schnips. In this post you can see a new headgear, the rest, are just reskins of existing body parts. So you won’t get any new cosmetic content related to Schnips until the end of – Season 3. In doing so, Livid-Respect5357 disappointedly titles his post “One of the biggest missed opportunities I’ve ever seen…”

How are the players reacting?

Not only Livid is disappointed, but so is everyone in the comments under his post. Many gamers can’t believe that Epic Games gave away such potential. Anyone who knows Toy Story knows the possibilities Epic Games would have had to give the action figure crazy combos.

Players are therefore commenting on reddit about their displeasure with how Epic designed the skin:

• I was looking forward to a new torso, but no, we’re stuck with three buff torsos in different colors – says DeadEndXD.
• I really thought we would get new unique stuff for snips, but I think it’s just blatant reskins – writes i_only_land_onchard disappointedly
• This game always comes soooo close to something great and then just COMPLETELY ruins their chances. […] – tideshark says
• It’s not even that it recolors, it’s also that the parts are bad, why is the cool action figure not based on toys, but on garbage and olives? – adds Notwarioalt

The disappointment carries through to the end of the post. Players want to make it clear what possibilities Epic had and ultimately buried them through reskins.
