Fortnite – Pickaxes

The pickaxe is a tool with which the player can mine and destroy materials in the world of Fortnite. Players don’t need to have a shema or materials to make a pickaxe and use it, as all players in Save the World and start with one.

Save the World

Players can improve their pickaxe levels in Save the World, through the skill tree. This increases the amount of damage that the pickaxe does to objects and therefore allows players to destroy things and collect materials faster.

Battle Royale

The pickaxe in Battle Royale offers for purchase cosmetic skins for players. These are pure cosmetics and do not affect the functions of the pickaxe. All pickaxes in Battle Royale do 50 damage on environmental builds or 100 ,if it is a critical hit. The base damage of player built constructions is 75 and 10 on enemy players. Critical hits do 150 damage if you hit the blue target marker that appears after the first hit.

Fortnite

In “Fortnite: Battle Royale”, teams of one to four players play against each other on an island. There are a total of 100 players on the map. The team that survives to the end wins the round. To prevent the players from simply hiding somewhere and holding out until there are hardly any opponents left, there is a damage-free zone that gradually shrinks. Those who remain outside lose life points (HP) or even die. The survivors are thus rounded up and sent into the confrontation.

makes several million dollars in revenue with “Fortnite: Battle Royale” anyway. This works via sales of content in the game. However, players can only customize their looks and actions here. There are no game advantages, such as better weapons. Payment is made with the virtual currency V-Bucks. 1000 V-Bucks cost around 10 euros. Players can also earn small amounts of V-Bucks by completing tasks.
