A date for the next – Season change in “Fortnite” Epic Games has not yet named, but Update 21.50 for the popular Battle Royale title feels like the entrance to the home stretch for Chapter 3 – – Season 3: There are no changes to the map, but there are some shifts in the available game modes and a new event begins.
Phantasm shadow
Players had a blast with the Dragon Ball crossover, which flushed exceedingly explosive items onto the island. The Shadow of Phantasma event week swings the pendulum in the other direction: From August 30 to September 7, 2022, it’s all about secrecy and defense. For this, Epic Games has taken four items out of the vault: the Assault rifle with silencer, the Shadow bomb, the Shield bubble and the Rocket launcher with silencer – You know, when you want to blow something up quietly.
Dragon Ball Items
The Dragon Ball crossover may be at an end, but the Nimbus Cloud and Kamehameha remain in the game as very rare items for now. This guide will show you how to still get both pieces.
Among-Us Mode
Given the explosion in popularity that Among Us experienced a few years ago, it was no real surprise that Fortnite would be launched in 2021 with the Impostor Playlist jumped on the trend. The game mode has been quite popular ever since, but is now taking a break: The vault calls and takes the playlist out of rotation. You don’t have to shed any tears, though: Every format returns to the action at some point.
Late Game Arena
An example of returning modes is Late Game Arena. Here, 60 players battle it out for victory on a scaled-down map with heavy equipment from the start – a format designed for intense action and mayhem. Epic Games seems to have bigger plans with this, as there are several tournaments for solo players and teams of three in this mode throughout September.
