Fortnite servers go into downtime – when and for how long?

Downtime in the morning: The servers will be shut down at 10am our time to roll out update 18.21. Matchmaking is already disabled 30 minutes before, so you won’t be able to play from 09:30.

When will you be able to play again? The servers will be offline for a whole hour and playing will no longer be possible. The downtime is expected to be between 30 minutes and 2 hours. This is what the updates of the past weeks have shown.

Of course, there can always be technical problems and delays during such work. If there are any complications, we will report them to you.

When are the patch notes coming? As usual, Epic Games will probably not publish patch notes regarding the update. Therefore, the community is forced to go on a scavenger hunt themselves to track down changes.

What’s new for Battle Royale mode? We can’t be sure about the changes yet, but leaks and dataminers have proven to be a safe source many times in the past. The following changes may occur:

Possible new Halloween skins

Fortnite has over the past few weeks, Halloween skins in the form of tarot cards angeteasert. These were decorated with various symbols. Thus, Epic allowed the players a certain guesswork, which skin is hidden behind this card.

New POI – Cube City

Hypex, a well-known leaker from the Fortnite scene, had already announced in advance that a Cube City would become available as a new location during – Season 8. Now the time has come and a piece from the kingdom of cubes has arrived on the map.

The center point is now called “The Convergence” and can be discovered as a new location. Be careful though, the queen and her minions might be waiting for you.

New enemy – The Overseer

A giant creature will be waiting for you in Fortnite. It’s called “The Caretaker” and it’s a giant variant of a tilt-world monster. To give you an idea of how huge these critters are, Hypex has made a juxtaposition with a skin.

Fortnitemares Challenges and Items

Hypex had a lead on this one too, as he found out which items will benefit you for free in the Halloween event this year.

You will be able to unlock these items through quests. These may appear today. If this turns out to be true, we will write a more detailed post about it.

The Secret Skin – The Queen of Dice

This is just speculation, but possibly the secret skin could be waiting for you already today. Hypex has now summarized all the important images. This is how the secret skin “the queen of dice” looks like:

New weapon – Kippwelt Sense

A new weapon has also made it into the game here. This is the tilt world scythe.

There was already a weapon with a blade with the Ice King. Now a scythe in the Kevin look awaits you. Whether this weapon belongs to the queen?

New instant item – Zero Point Pretzel

A new instant item has made it into the Fortnite database. It allows you to perform double jumps.

It’s unclear if this has made it into the game yet, so stay tuned.
