Fortnite is launching the big live event “Collision” next week to end – Season 2, Chapter 3. All the important info, the date and how you can be there, we show you here.
When is the Fortnite live event? The live event “Collision” will run on 04 June 2022, starting at 22:00. It is not yet known how long it will run – but in the past, you could always count on a quarter to half an hour.
How can I participate? Basically, anyone who plays Fortnite can participate in the event. You just have to be there on time: To be on the safe side, you should enter the game no later than 30 minutes before the start of the event – that’s when the playlist for the event is supposed to be unlocked. In the past it could come to problems due to full servers if you entered later. Therefore punctuality pays off. Important: The event will take place only once and only at this time.
How many players do I need? The announcement talks about “teams of four players”. However, it can be assumed that the event will also give the option to team up with random teammates. At least that was the case in past events. But what can we expect in the event?
Collision ends the – Season 2, Chapter 3 in Fortnite
What is this event? The title Collision is probably related to the clashing organizations of the “Seven” and the “IO”. Their conflict has been going on for the whole – Season and should reach a new level in the event.
Because: The past events in Fortnite were already “big” and often brought drastic changes – such as a complete flooding of the map, or a turning of the island.
The official description says that the “fate of the zero point” will be decided. Accordingly, “Collision” is also likely to be a good crash.
What is already known? There isn’t too much information about the content yet. Leaks talked about it possibly going into space.
Two objects are known to play a big role in this:
- On the map there is currently a huge tower, the “Collider”, which regularly shoots laser beams into the sky. This seems to be the ultimate weapon of the IO.

You should also get a reward when you log into the game on June 04 from 14:00: A loading screen and lobby music. In addition, after the event, the current Battle Pass will also end. This is important again if you still have resources to spend.
What should I do before the end of the – Season ? Be sure to spend any remaining Battle Stars from the Battle Pass on the rewards you want. Otherwise, they will be “automatically” redeemed at – Season End for the rewards in the Pass – in chronological order. Then you may find that stars are spent on rewards from the first pages, even though you’ve actually saved up for the later pages. Also, you should spend your chips on the Omni Sword. Otherwise they will simply expire. Last but not least, level up as much as you can – if you still want to grab some of the rewards from the Battle Pass.
