Vending Machine
The Vending Machine is an item in Fortnite ‘s Battle Royale mode that can be found in various locations across the island. It allows players to exchange surplus building materials for weapons or other items. Each item originally cost either wood , stone or metal , but this has changed with patch V.8.10. Since this patch, the vending machines now give away their content free of charge, but then disappear immediately.
A vending machine doesn’t have to spawn in every match, but when one does spawn, they always spawn in the same locations. A kind of slide show is used to show which items can be purchased from the vending machine.
Each vending machine can offer three different items; what they are and what level of rarity they have was originally purely coincidental. In the meantime, this depends on the respective machine.

- Vending machines are automatically destroyed once you make a purchase. That’s the only way to destroy them.
- Hitting the vending machine with the pickaxe will allow you to switch through the different items faster.
Fortnite is a co-op survival shooter developed by People Can Fly and Epic Games, which gained its popularity through a free-to-play standalone mode based on the Battle Royale genre, Fortnite Battle Royale. The third-person shooter was released worldwide on July 25, 2017, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. A Chinese version appeared later with restrictions.
Fortnite Battle Royale was released on September 26, 2017. In March 2018, Fortnite Battle Royale was also released for Apple iOS devices as part of an invite event. The Android version of the Battle Royale offshoot was released in early August 2018, and Fortnite Battle Royale was released for Nintendo Switch in June 2018. A version for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 became available on their respective release days.
