Twitch xQc would switch to YouTube Gaming?

For Twitch streamer xQc to switch livestreaming platforms and go to YouTube , YouTube would have to pay him an exorbitant amount of money. But not only that. Even if YouTube loosens up that sum, there would still be more strings attached to the switch. At least from xQc’s point of view.

With Fuslie from 100 Thieves this year, the fourth major Twitch streamer has switched livestreaming platforms to stream on YouTube. Since the end of 2021, YouTube has been luring more and more Twitch streamers with exclusive contracts. However, Twitch’s foundation is far from crumbling. Several major streamers would have to change the platform for that to happen.

One of the biggest Twitch streamers, if not… the Twitch star of all, is xQc. Following reports of Twitch streamers overflowing, he is increasingly being asked what amount of money YouTube would have to offer him to leave Twitch behind. The answer sounds like a joke, but Félix Lengyel aka xQc is serious.

For this sum xQc would switch to YouTube

For $1 billion xQc would leave Twitch. He added that the $1 billion YouTube would have to pay him, however, would not be paid slowly over the years, but would be “just a lump sum.” That’s not enough for him, though. He also makes it a condition that his fellow streamers Pokimane, Jesse, Adin Ross and Kai Cenat also switch platforms. Perhaps this is so that he is not so alone on YouTube. Kai Cenat has made a -like rise on Twitch and is on the verge of dethroning xQc as the Twitch streamer with the most subscribers.

Twitch: Fuslie (1.2 million followers) moves to

The streaming war continues. With Fuslie’s switch to YouTube Gaming, over 1 million followers move from Twitch to YouTube again.

Twitch: Soon streamers will not be able to host anyone

Twitch will shut down the host feature in October 2022 and streamers no longer understand the world.

By the way, xQc thinks the move of Sykkuno, Valkyrae and LilyPichu to YouTube is a mistake. xQc feels that they could have made a lot more money as a group with their exclusivity contracts, considering how much their streamer appearances could be worth together as a group. So xQc’s offer now stands. Now it’s your move, YouTube.
