Every year there are players who are in the game at the start of FIFA and then removed during the – Season . Here we show you players who are already out in FIFA 22 – and those who might be removed soon.

Already before release this year it hit Benjamin Mendy. The Manchester City left-back is rightly no longer in FIFA Ultimate Team, in January 2022 he had to defend himself against rape allegations in four cases. He was released on bail. However, the allegations still stand and the trial is continuing. Let’s see what happens to him in FIFA….

Santi Mina sentenced to four years in prison

Rumble, there go the bars! Celta Vigo’s Santi Mina was sentenced to four years in prison in Spain. The striker is accused of sexual abuse towards a woman from 2017. The prosecution demanded eight years imprisonment, half of this demand has now been granted. Mina allegedly raped a woman in a caravan, the Spaniard can still appeal. At the time, Santi Mina was still under contract with Valencia FC. In FIFA he is irrelevant anyway, with his 77 card we can and want to do nothing anyway! EA has to remove Santi Mina from FIFA 22 as soon as possible, so FC Prison got their player. Celta Vigo has already removed his striker from the squad, so that’s it with his career – completely right, we think. On Futbin Mina already has more than 600 dislikes hehehe.

Quincy Promes on trial – charged with murder and drug trafficking
The winger Quincy Promes has to stand trial in his home country Netherlands for drug trafficking and murder. The 30-year-old was arrested back in December 2020. Promes spent two nights in jail after his arrest and has denied all charges.

He is accused of stabbing his own cousin to death. In a telephone conversation, he allegedly confessed to the crime. If the accusations turn out to be true, he will undoubtedly have to be removed from FIFA Ultimate Team.

After EA wants to remove Russian teams, Promes might not be found in FUT soon anyway. He is under contract with Spartak Moscow.

Mason Greenwood arrested – EA removes him from FIFA 22
Mason Greenwood is suspected of physically and sexually abusing his (former) girlfriend. After his club Manchester United suspended him and supplier Nike ended their cooperation with the 20-year-old, EA Sports now reacts and removes Greenwood from FIFA 22.

So far, this only affects the offline modes (i.e. kick-off and career) – in FUT you can still trade with him. EA should react as soon as possible. The price was fixed after some players traded immorally.

If the accusations are confirmed, it is also possible that he will be removed from Ultimate Team completely. Greenwood cards that are already in circulation will stay with the players, he will be removed completely in FIFA 23.

Sexism scandal at Ajax: FUT icon Marc Overmars dismissed – He is also deleted from FIFA 22
He was an outstanding footballer, but as we all know, that doesn’t protect you from stupidity. The (now) former Ajax Amsterdam director of football resigned after it was revealed that he “sent a series of inappropriate messages to several female colleagues over an extended period of time.” Ajax made the announcement in a press release.

Even if he himself comes up with phrases like “I’m ashamed” or “I didn’t realize that I crossed a line” (prime example of toxic masculinity), it is right and important from the club to act this way.

EA has reacted in the meantime and removed Overmas from FIFA 22.

Allegations of abuse against Ilombe Mboyo – Gent does not let him play anymore
In the night of 15 to 16 January Ilombe Mboyo allegedly abused a woman – he was already arrested on suspicion and has not been in the squad of KAA Gent since then. What happens to the Belgian in real life will probably also determine what happens to him in Ultimate Team.

This is not the first time that Ilombe Mboyo has attracted negative attention… in 2004 he was involved in a gang rape of a 14 year old girl.

WTF just. Shame he was even allowed to step foot on the turf after that incident. Sad how little such incidents matter when someone can kick a little against the ball. Oh you beautiful soccer, where have you gone?

Kurt Zouma abuses his cats – RSPCA takes them away from him
Yes, you read that right. In a video, the 27-year-old Frenchman from West Ham United is seen kicking his cats. He also knocks a cat out of his child’s hand – and the animal’s face.

Many footballers are just out-of-touch millionaires who think they can do anything. The best part is simply Zouma’s ridiculous attempt to apologize: “I apologize to everyone who is shocked by the video. I can assure you that the cats are in perfect health. They are loved and cared for by our family and this was an isolated incident.”

An isolated incident. Exactly. If you only drop your cat once from your hand to kick it away with your foot, then yes, it fits. Our mistake.

Meanwhile, the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in England has reacted and taken the animals away from him.

Karim Benzema receives suspended sentence – Will he be removed from Ultimate Team?
Benzema’s case reached its climax. Because Real Madrid’s superstar was on trial for trying to blackmail his former teammate Mathieu Valbuena with a sex video in 2015.

Now a verdict has been announced: Benzema receives a one-year suspended sentence. On top of that, he has to pay a fine of 75,000 euros.

Simply unbelievable that such a multimillionaire got involved in such a sordid story. Actually also unbelievable that one celebrates the goal scorer sportily so, but he is such a failure beside the place.

But well… If it were up to that, we probably wouldn’t have paid any attention to Cristiano Ronaldo for a long time.

Benzema doesn’t really need to go to jail, though. The sum is a small matter for him, and the imprisonment will be appealed.

Lucas Hernandez escapes jail – Will he still fly out of FUT?
Bayern star Lucas Hernandez does not have to go to jail after all. Among other things, for disobeying a contact ban with his current wife, he had to answer to a court.

Instead, he must pay 96,000 euros. But the story is unbelievably curious. If EA wants to maintain a clean-cut image, he could be removed before the end of the current – Season .

Sigurdsson suspended at Everton – How long in Ultimate Team?
The story around the former Bundesliga player (TSG Hoffenheim) is terrible. The 31-year-old is suspected of child abuse and was logically suspended by Everton FC.

Why Mendy is out, and Sigurdsson still in, is a mystery to us. However, the central attacking midfielder could also soon be unavailable in FUT.

Bissouma in custody – Does EA remove him soon?
Brighton & Hove Albion’s Yves Bissouma was led out of a nightclub in handcuffs by police in October. He was alleged to have sexually assaulted a woman. Most recently, his bail was extended by five weeks.

EA is yet to draw any conclusions and is keeping the central defensive midfielder in the game. However, depending on how the case develops, he could be removed from the game.

What is the story with FC Prison in FIFA 22?
The community (including on Reddit) has since joked that so many pros are on trial that it’s almost enough to make an entire eleven.

Of course, the accusations against the stars are not exactly funny – however, the pity for the blasé multimillionaires (and that’s still putting it nicely) is also limited. So FC Prison contains players who are either already out of Ultimate Team, or could be out soon.

Either way: EA should react and watch the incidents and court cases closely. Because among them are cases that are not funny at all and if the accusations are confirmed, these players no longer belong in a sports game (which we all play mainly for the fun of it).

FIFA 23 RELEASE – WHAT IS KNOWN SO FAR

FIFA 22 is still in full operation, but in the background the game makers of EA Sports are already working on the next part – FIFA 23 will be released in autumn 2022.
But under which name will the classic game be continued in autumn 2022? As things stand, it is not at all certain that the game will continue to bear the name of the world association FIFA. We have the most important information about FIFA 23 for you, why the game series will get a new name and on which consoles the next part of the soccer simulation will be available.

WHEN WILL FIFA 23 BE RELEASED?

We can’t give you an official launch date for the next part of the FIFA game series yet. EA hasn’t communicated much in this regard yet, so so far we can only assume that FIFA 23 will be released in the period between mid-September and early October 2022, just like its predecessors. In the past years, the latest launch date of a FIFA game was October 06.
