Chilean Arturo Vidal is familiar to German soccer fans in particular from his time at FC Bayern Munich. Between 2015 and 2018, the midfielder played at the Isar before moving to FC Barcelona in Spain. FIFA 20 gives the player with the striking hairstyle an outstanding flashback card and we reveal how to complete the SBC most favorably.
In 2007, the then unknown Arturo Vidal moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen and turned into an absolute top performer in the jerseys of Juventus Turin, Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona. In FIFA 20’s FUT mode, Vidal comes up with an enormously strong flashback card. In our SBC guide, we explain how you can get the Chilean into your own team. Even if there is no strong link to Flashback Jérôme Boateng anymore.
Quick facts about Flashback Arturo Vidal:
- Position: ZM
- Nation: Chile
- League: LaLiga Santander
- Overall Rating: 90
- Weak foot: 4 stars
- Skills: 3 stars
- Price: about 650.000 coins
- Expiration: does not expire
Flashback Arturo Vidal: The strengths
Already the gold card of Vidal is one of the strongest eights in FIFA 20, that is, central midfielders who can contribute both forward and back. Compared to the standard version, the Box2Box midfielder increases mightily, especially in terms of speed: 81 Pace (without Chem-Style) and 91 Stamina are outstanding.
All values of flashback Arturo Vidal are above 80. FIFA players know what that means: Gullit Gang!
Depending on which chemistry style you apply, Vidal can be used excellently in central or defensive midfield. Engine or Shadow make the most sense here. This makes the Flashback card one of the three best central midfielders in FUT 20 – except for the icons, of which we have already presented a few real bargains
The most affordable solution for the SBC
However, to secure the services of Flashback Arturo Vidal, you have to dig pretty deep into your pocket. The SBC costs around 650,000 coins at the current time, but they are well invested. For this, a total of three teams must be surrendered:
Team from FC Barcelona with an 85 rating (at least 75 chemistry)
Team from the Spanish LaLiga with an 86 rating (at least 70 chemistry)
Team with an 87 rating (at least 65 chemistry)
Truly no bargain therefore, but with the cheapest solution, time and some trading skills no problem.
Team 1: FC Barcelona
Actually, only one player from the Catalan capital is enough here. So why not Vidal himself? To achieve chemistry, we line up around the Chilean his teammates Rakitic and Arthur, while the back line from the Portuguese league fulfills the chemistry goal.
Team 2: LaLiga
Here we decided to use a Bundesliga team composed mainly of players from FC Bayern Munich to achieve the chemistry goal. We use goalkeeper Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid as the required LaLiga player, who pushes the team’s rating with his rating of 91. Back in the mix: Cameroonian André Onana – perhaps THE most favorable 85 rating card par excellence.
Team 3: 87 team
By far the most expensive team in the SBC. This selection alone accounts for half of the total 650,000 coins. But since there are no team or league restrictions here, you can combine completely freely.
A free pack beckons for the submission of each team. In the end, you have Flashback Aruto Vidal, one of the best central midfielders in your team, who is guaranteed to be one of the best options in this position until the end of FIFA 20. Especially in combination with the players from Icon Swaps 3, this makes for an enormously strong team. FIFA Squad Building Challenges (short SBC)
The FIFA Squad Building Challenges (SBC for short) are about putting together a team according to certain specifications. They are an important part of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) and bring coins, valuable packs or special cards when fulfilled.
For the most part, you’ll have to line up eleven players that you have in your club and then send this squad off. These players will then disappear from your club. In return, you’ll receive a reward, such as a pack or a special card. As with FIFA 19, FIFA 20 and FIFA 21 we will report about the latest SBCs for FIFA 22 here and help you to judge if it is worth to complete a challenge.
START WITH THE SQUAD BUILDING CHALLENGES
In Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), you can use your player items to build unique teams based on various challenge conditions. You can then submit these to receive bonuses.
Here’s how:
- From the FIFA 22 main menu, select the FIFA Ultimate Team section.
- In the home page section, select Squad Building Challenges and call them up.
- Select the challenge you want to complete. They are grouped by category.
Create a team.
- Using items from your club or from the transfer market, build a team that meets the challenge conditions. Usually this is a mix of player quality, team chemistry, team value, nationalities, leagues and clubs.
Master the Challenge to submit your team and receive bonuses.
- All SBC submissions cannot be undone. Once you complete an SBC, the submitted items will be permanently removed from your club in exchange for bonuses. Our consultants cannot restore submitted items.
- For some SBCs, you will only have a limited amount of time to complete them. Once a challenge has expired, you will no longer be able to submit a team.
More details about SBCs
- Some SBCs consist of multiple challenges with individual bonuses and a larger overall completion bonus. Other challenges are single challenges.
- Some SBCs are repeatable. You have a chance to get different bonuses for each team submission, but you might also get the same bonus.
- SBCs are available in all FIFA 22 versions, but they can vary depending on the platform. Bonuses can also vary from platform to platform.
