After the successful “theHunter: Call of the Wild”, the developers of Expansive Worlds announced another open-world experience with “Call of the Wild: The Angler”.

This time, however, you won’t take control of a hunter, but instead slip into the role of an angler. In building the game world of “Call of the Wild: The Angler”, the makers of Expansive World say they are building on their experience with “theHunter: Call of the Wild” and will offer you a varied and lively game world in which you can search for the perfect fishing spot.

Either alone or cooperatively with other players, you can choose your fishing equipment freely and deepen your knowledge of lures, fishing spots and the fish themselves. Here is an overview of the other gameplay features of the fishing simulation.

• Explore an atmospheric open world: Discover breathtaking fishing spots on sweeping waterways by foot, boat or off-road vehicle. Traverse a vibrant world at your own pace and discover winding rivers, towering peaks, hidden ponds and springs, and epic hiking trails.
• Feel the true thrill of freshwater fishing: Battle fierce trout bass, mountain whitefish and more in an immersive, accessible fishing experience. Each species has its own unique behavior, so you’ll need to carefully counter their movements to catch them.
• Become a master angler: Learn expert techniques and adapt your strategy to land the most challenging catches. Expand your tackle collection and use a wide range of rods that are fully customizable with a growing selection of reels, lines, floats, hooks, lures and baits.
