Call of Duty: Warzone brought extensive changes to the game in the mid– Season of – Season 2. All ends were screwed, almost everything in the game is now a little different. And that finally went down well with the players.

– Season 2 changes shake up Warzone
Why is everything a little different now? Warzone basically splits into 2 maps that bring their own modes and in both of them there were drastic changes.
On the one hand, there is Rebirth Island. The smaller map has been collecting fans for a while and got a facelift with the mid– Season .
There are 2 new “points of interest” and minor adjustments all over the map, like new ladders and more ways to reach higher areas. Also came new mechanics like the mobile buying station.

In addition, there is now a revised version of the solo experience on Rebirth Island, in which you can use the typical “revival countdown” even without team members.
On the large map Caldera, the gameplay has changed fundamentally. “Vanguard Royale” served as a test mode in recent months and has now been completely cancelled.
There is now only the normal Battle Royale, which has now adopted some of the special features of Vanguard Royale. At the forefront is the adjustment of the health points to 150.
The increased number of health points changes the feel of the battle, and the time-to-kill is higher. This shakes up the weapon meta and changes the way battles play out on Caldera.

The Mid– Season Update has been unusually well received overall. The Warzone news account “ModernWarzone” started a poll on Twitter about the Mid– Season and received a clear tendency:
- Good update: 70.2%
- Lousy update: 29.8 %

How do the changes arrive on Rebirth Island? In the run-up, there was concern that the popular little map would be “made worse”. Because many players liked the old Rebirth Island.
But the adjustments for better accessibility of higher areas and also the new areas make a solid impression and are a good expansion for many players.

In addition, some find the “juggernaut event” on Rebirth Island stressful. You don’t stand a chance when several tank suits maraud across the island in the final moves of the game.
A problem with the buy stations also sours the game. Many players experience a short lag, a delay when activating the stations. You can’t use that in stressful situations.

What about solo mode? The new solo mode on Rebirth Island also caused many positive voices. After landing, a countdown of 15 seconds starts – if you survive in that time, you have a free respawn.
@ModernWarzone writes about it on Twitter: “Rebirth Island Solo might be Warzone’s best solo experience yet. Good job with the mid– Season update!”.
There are also many dissenting voices under the tweet, as the usual camper problem in solo modes persists. But by respawning safely until a certain point in the match, you don’t fly right out of the game when a motionless opponent is waiting to be shot down.
