FIFA Ultimate Team – Season 6 features new – Season al Quests including Progression Rewards, Icon Swaps Objectives and much more. There’s a lot to unlock here…
This is the sixth time EA Sports has launched a new Ultimate Team – Season . And the latest – Season is packed with different challenges to complete over the next seven weeks.
Although Friday’s announcement was somewhat lost due to the reveal of the TOTSSF and several new SBCs , there are still some new things coming for – Season 6.
– Season progression rewards
When a new – Season is announced, most players go straight to see which storyline players are available as a final reward. Like most storyline players to date, the last three are nice additions, but none of them are must-haves.
Mario Gotze, Samuel Umtiti and Pedro, all 90 rated, would fit into different teams based on their leagues and nationalities. However, since only Pedro has a 90+ haste rating, those looking for speed might otherwise be disappointed.
As usual, EA Sports has also included three storyline players as mid– Season quest rewards. Ianis Hagi, Juan Agudelo and Mohamed Elyounoussi, all 87 rated, could be a reasonable option from the bench as they all have 90+ pace ratings. However, all three players are not ideal starters as they would likely have a negative impact on team chemistry.
EarlyGame tip: Since none of the three are suitable as starters, you should see where your own squad is weak, this can provide information about which player fits the squad best. Any of the three players would make good substitutes.
Two Prime Icons will also be offered on loan for seven games (Luis Figo and Socrates) as part of the – Season progression. Numerous packs, tifos, emblems, stadium themes and celebrations will be unlocked over the next seven weeks.
Icon Swaps
As in – Season 5, there are challenges for 12 icon swaps that can be exchanged for a selection of icons in the SBC.
Four of these challenges are all about winning Squad Battles games with teams that meet certain criteria. The challenges vary in difficulty. Winning six legendary games with an all-German XI doesn’t seem too difficult. Getting five world-class wins with a team made up entirely of US players is a lot tougher.
The other two goals include winning five World Class Squad Battles with a team made up of only Championship and CONMEBOL players.
EarlyGame Tip: Decide which icon(s) you want to add to your squad before the Icon Swaps challenges begin. This way you know exactly how many challenges you have to complete.
League goals in FUT – Season 6
As for the online challenges, eight are offered again this – Season . These include the league objectives, which require players to win four Rivals games with at least nine first-owned players from each of the top five leagues – Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A, Bundesliga and La Liga.
Also making a return is the One Club Wonders challenge, where an Icon Swaps card is available for winning five Rivals games with an all-first-owned XI, while another objective is obtained by winning 12 weekend League games can be achieved.
The only new challenge in – Season 6 is the World Beaters Challenges, where an Icon Swaps card can be achieved by winning five Rivals matches with at least two players from the five major leagues in the starting XI.
EarlyGame Tip: Try to complete multiple challenges at the same time. For example, if your squad is made up mostly of La Liga players, why not win five Rivals games with eleven La Liga first-owned players? So you have completed two challenges at once. To be even more efficient, you could choose a team that also fulfills more time-sensitive goals like TOTSSF Ivan Toney and Marcus Thuram or Player Moments Ayemeric Laporte.
Miscellaneous
Finally, – Season 6 also offers the usual challenges: scoring in Squad Battles and Rivals games, and getting assists in any game mode.
At EarlyGame we love both esports and FIFA so don’t forget to check back often for news and updates. For example, the latest Fifa Update 16 has just gone live.
FIFA 22 – FUTs
What could be cooler than just relaxed gaming and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles. With the Ultimate Team Event cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. However, the FUT Heroes keep creeping into my mind, so here are the best Ultimate Team Event cards that are definitely worth adding to your collection.
Heroes cards selected by EA for top qualities
Admittedly, the FUT heroes will cost quite a bit of coin, but it turns out that EA has once again brought some top-class players into the game when it comes to selection. As a collector and hunter, it’s an added attraction for FIFA gamers to now include their own favorite heroes in the portfolio and benefit from their individual skills. Both in the game and in team building, the FUTs will revolutionize the game once again.
EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME
Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. A lot of playing was rewarded, points could be collected and items, boosts or balls for the individual game modes could be unlocked.
In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game. There is a heated discussion in the FIFA community about whether the game, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, will be free-to-play. This option is said to be on the table for the game makers from EA, because: It seems that EA earns most of its money with the purchases of FIFA Points in the game mode Ultimate Team and not with the sale of the game itself.
