The release of FIFA 23 is getting closer. There are a total of seven new skill moves to learn. What are they and how they work? An overview:
With HyperMotion 2, FIFA 23 gameplay is supposed to be “more realistic than ever before” – EA is also going after the radius of the defenders. A good basis to plow with skill moves over the field?
EA SPORTS introduces four new special moves and three new shooting feints in FIFA 23. One of them is so explosive that it can only be executed by professionals with 4-star special movement. In addition, in the last part of the series left-footed special moves should finally be able to perform with the left foot.
The new special moves
Delayed Feint (3 stars):
L2 || hold LT + RS jerk left, RS jerk right or L2 || Hold LT + RS jerk right, RS jerk left Can be canceled with L2 + R2 || LT + RT.
Heel-to-ball roll (4 stars):
L1 || Hold LB + RS jerk forward, RS jerk backward. The input of the left stick determines the direction of the special movement (left or right).
Hack Finte (5 stars):
L2 || Hold LT + RS jerk to the left, RS jerk to the right. or L2 || Hold LT + RS jerk to the right, RS jerk to the left. The hacking feint can only be executed from a standing position
Direct take-off feint turn (1 star):
L1 + R1 hold + LS jerk backward || LB + RB + LS jerk backward. Direct take-off feint turn can only be executed as a first touch
New shot feints
Explosive shot feint (4 stars):
Shooting feint + LS jerky move (in the barrel) – acceleration value and sprint speed value must be greater than 85. However, the special movement cannot be requested in all directions

Opening shot finte in the barrel (1 star):
L1 || LB + shot feint + LS jerk to the right or left. Depending on the input on the left stick, this special move sends the player to the right or left
Opening shot finte in the stand (1 star):
L1 || LB + shooting feint + LS jerky move. Depending on the line of sight of the player with the ball, the opening shot fin may not be requested to the back while standing
Changes in the special movement input
Super Flicks (1 star):
Hold RS in any direction or press and hold R3 || RS + LS (in any direction). RS/R3 can be held to trigger another flick. The flick distance is based on the hold duration of the right stick.
Skill Bridge (4 stars):
L2 || Hold LT + RS jerk forward, RS jerk backward.
Concealed First Touch:
L1 + R1 hold + LS forward || LB + RB hold + LS forward. Understandably, the concealed first touch can only be executed as a first touch
Special moves with the left foot
As noted above, left-footed players can perform special moves with their strong foot. We have also listed which already known skill moves left-footed variants get:
