What we already know about FIFA 23

Still during the summer it will be really exciting again. EA Sports will reveal piece by piece and video by video smaller information about FIFA 23 to hype the FIFA community to the maximum for the new part.

We have some information even now. All other open questions we try to estimate by past titles.

When will FIFA 23 be released ?
From now on you can pre-order FIFA 23. The official release is September 30, 2022 and for presenters three days earlier and thus September 27, 2022.

Is there a World Cup mode in FIFA 23?
The 2022 Men’s World Cup will be held in Qatar starting November 21, 2022, and the Women’s World Cup will follow in 2023, at which point FIFA 23 will have been available for a few weeks. So you will get the chance to play a Women’s World Cup and a Men’s World Cup. How the World Cup license will be implemented in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team is not known yet. But there could be a FUT World Cup mode detached from the normal mode, where you can build an Ultimate Team out of World Cup participants.

Who will release FIFA 23?
FIFA 23 will be published by publisher EA Sports. However, the name license is expiring. So next year we could expect FIFA 24 to be produced either by the Football Association itself or by another publisher.

What is the name of FIFA 23?
The new title of EA Sports’ soccer simulation will once again be called FIFA. The following year, the game is to get a new name. The name EA Sports Football Club has now been officially confirmed by the publisher.

Is FIFA 23 to become free to play?
In the meantime there was talk about a subscription model. In the meantime we know that there will be a standard and an ultimate edition. What’s more, this time a woman will be gracing the cover alongside Mbappé.

Will FIFA 23 have a pay to win mechanic?

How does the new chemistry system work in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team?
The old system with chemistry links to neighboring players has been replaced by a new system. Here you have to have players of the same nation, league or clubs in your club, but they don’t necessarily have to be lined up next to each other. More about this here:

Will FIFA 23 support crossplay?
EA Sports has officially confirmed that there will be crossplay. However, there is a catch here.

Will FIFA 23 be available on the PlayStation 4?
There is currently no reason to believe that FIFA 23 will only be released on the next-gen consoles. The new consoles are still too rare on the market and therefore there will be enough Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players.
