FIFA 23: All info about the leagues – News, Leaks & Fan Votes

There are still some months to go, but we are already hot for ! Therefore we give you an overview which old and new leagues will be available in the next .

Which do you want for FIFA 23?

FIFA 22 is still running for a few months, but let’s be honest: Most of us are getting the hype for the next title. For us too, that’s why we want to cover every news and every leak – in our big FIFA 23 Hub article you can find all important information about the next FIFA of EA Sports.

Here we deal especially with the leagues included in the game. It’s still very early and the information is very rare, so expect regular updates on this article. Let’s go!

Are there new leagues in FIFA 23?

It is actually always the case that EA promotes and hypes the next FIFA part with some new leagues. Which region will appear in FIFA 23 for the time is not known yet. But at least the community already has some favorites… more about that in a moment.

Are there new clubs in FIFA 23?

Even without any infos or leaks we can answer this question with a pretty sure “yes”. Why? Well, in England for example only the top four divisions are included in FIFA. So if a team is promoted from the fifth league, we see it for the first time. If you go through this for every single league, we can surely look forward to at least a dozen new clubs – no matter if new leagues will be included in FIFA 23 or not.

How many leagues are there in FIFA?

In FIFA 22 there were a total of 38 different leagues with over 700 licensed clubs. Additionally there were many national teams of men and women available in the game. Up to now it is not known how many leagues will be available in FIFA 23. But this is quite important, because nobody wants to play in the Lemier Preague with Cristoph Rolando and Manchester Seperated. Ah yes, licenses…

We only know that the Mexican league BBVA MX won’t be part of the game for the time being, as developer Konami has secured an exclusive deal here. As soon as EA Sports reveals more or any leaks come to light, we will of course update this article. In case you wonder which leagues were included in FIFA 22..

Is the Serie A in FIFA 23?
Serie A and FIFA have had a somewhat difficult relationship in recent years – already in FIFA 22 four teams of the top Italian division were no longer officially licensed. Atalanta Bergamo (= Bergamo Calcio), Lazio Roma (= Lazio), Juventus Torino (= Piemonte Calcio) as well as AS Roma (= Roma FC) are only available in FIFA under wrong names. Another top team will join them in the next part: SSC Napoli won’t be officially licensed in FIFA 23 either.

But we assume that in FIFA 23 no more teams or even the whole league will not be officially in the game anymore. The reason: EA Sports announced a partnership with the Serie A last year and wants to expand its influence in Italy. In addition, the Italian Supercoppa will also be continued under the name EA SPORTS Supercup from the 2022/23 – Season . We would be very surprised if the Serie A should suddenly go to Konami…

FIFA 23 – The situation with Russia

At the moment it looks like players have to do without Russian clubs, players or items in FIFA 23. In the course of the Ukraine war EA Sports has already reacted for FIFA 22 and announced in a press release that Russia will be removed completely from the game until further notice. It is very well imaginable that this ban will be extended at least until FIFA 23 – as sad as it is in the year 2022…

Vote for FIFA 23 leagues – overview & favorites

If it would go according to the FIFA community, we would have already got some new leagues from EA Sports. On the site fifplay.com, which is not officially licensed by EA, thousands of players regularly vote for their favorite leagues for the next title. The results of the vote are then shared every week on the site’s social media channels, among others.

Last year, for example, the Greek league won with over 66,000 votes. This league is also at the forefront of many votes for FIFA 23. Whether EA will comply with the fans’ wishes is still unclear – but a bit of fan service certainly wouldn’t hurt.

FIFA 23 RELEASE – WHAT IS KNOWN SO FAR

FIFA 22 is still in full operation, but in the background the game makers of EA Sports are already working on the next part – FIFA 23 will be released in autumn 2022.
But under which name will the classic game be continued in autumn 2022? As things stand, it is not at all certain that the game will continue to bear the name of the world association FIFA. We have the most important information about FIFA 23 for you, why the game series will get a new name and on which consoles the next part of the soccer simulation will be available.

WHEN WILL FIFA 23 BE RELEASED?

We can’t give you an official launch date for the next part of the FIFA game series yet. EA hasn’t communicated much in this regard yet, so so far we can only assume that FIFA 23 will be released in the period between mid-September and early October 2022, just like its predecessors. In the past years, the latest launch date of a FIFA game was October 06.
