The next title update in FIFA 22 is just around the corner. What will change, what is EA patching and how will it affect gameplay?

It’s only been two weeks and FIFA 22 is getting another patch – the game must be pretty broken, right? Small joke. Title Update 6 brings some changes to FIFA, but what exactly? As in the last patch, that doesn’t sound like much on paper at first. Gameplay will be adjusted and some bugs will be fixed for almost every mode. Unfortunately, the broken FUT transfer market can no longer be fixed …

When is Title Update 6 coming to FIFA 22?

The update will be released on February 15 for PC (Origin/Steam). As usual, console and Stadia owners (LoL) will have to wait a bit longer for this. We don’t know exactly when it will launch for these platforms yet, but it shouldn’t be more than a few days away.

FIFA 22: What changes will Title Update 6 bring?

Lots of little things. Some bugs and issues in FUT and career mode will be fixed, gameplay will also change slightly. Ahh, and VOLTA is getting some new party games. Where is the bus…?

FIFA 22: Multiple bug fixes in Title Update 6

Throughout Title Update 6, numerous minor issues across the various modes will be addressed. Nothing earth-shattering, but a few annoying bugs are history. Here is a brief overview:

FIFA Ultimate Team

• When a fairly large number of packs were present in the My Packs tab in the FUT Shop, only a small number of those packs were displayed before the number was reduced

Career mode

• Manager interviews didn’t always impact team morale.
• The Asian International Cup did not include the correctly ranked team from the Indian Super League.

What’s changing in gameplay in Title Update 6?

Only one thing that has changed is how tricks related to player runs work. Up until now, tricks could mess up your run, but a small update might change that:

Gameplay

• Stepovers and flicks cannot be performed 500 milliseconds after entering a player run
  • This change is intended to ensure that the mentioned skill moves no longer clash with the ability to determine the direction of the run path.

What could be cooler than just relaxed gaming and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles. With the Ultimate Team Event cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. Admittedly, the FUT heroes will cost quite a bit of coin, but it turns out that EA has once again brought some top-class players into the game when it comes to selection. As a collector and hunter, it’s an added attraction for FIFA gamers to now include their own favorite heroes in the portfolio and benefit from their individual skills. Both in the game and in team building, the FUTs will revolutionize the game once again.

EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME

Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. A lot of playing was rewarded, points could be collected and items, boosts or balls for the individual game modes could be unlocked.

In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game. There is a heated discussion in the FIFA community about whether the game, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, will be free-to-play. This option is said to be on the table for the game makers from EA, because: It seems that EA earns most of its money with the purchases of FIFA Points in the game mode Ultimate Team and not with the sale of the game itself.
