What is FIFA Ultimate Team ?

As you probably rightly asked yourself at the SBC: chemistry? What is that? Team chemistry actually describes how well your players harmonize with each other. Of course you can randomly throw random players together and try your luck… But we’re not at Hertha BSC here. Nothing works in Ultimate Team without chemistry!

Your goal should be to get your team chemistry up to 100. But how do you do it? Very simple: Ideally, every player has a chemistry of 10. This is made up of the team, the league and the nationality to which the player belongs. The starting position of the player also has an influence on this. If the player plays in an unfamiliar position, there are deductions in chemistry.

Player chemistry, in turn, affects individual player performance. So if the player runs in his favorite position and is connected to similar leagues or nations in the line-up, the chemistry increases and, accordingly, the player’s performance. The other way around you crash like Leroy Sané in the Bayern jersey.

FIFA Coins and FIFA Points

But speaking of money, there is no such thing as financial fair play in Ultimate Team. You have the choice between hard-earned FIFA Coins or FIFA Points, for which you have to pay real money. In the end, the game is somehow realistic again. Some develop their team with sweat and blood, others throw money around – and are rewarded for it.

If you decide to take the (honorable) path without a financial injection, you also have to hope for luck. Although you will earn some coins through matches, you will certainly not get rich from it. Ultimately, packing luck decides your fate. If you’re lucky enough to draw a meta player in the early stages of Ultimate Team…then congratulations! You are rich.

Over time, however, you’ll get a feel for Ultimate Team’s financial situation. When is the right time to get players? When should you buy packs and when should you avoid them? Sometimes it can make sense to take the risk and pay for the coins. Sometimes you should save again and wait for the right moment.

Ultimate Team is divided into several game modes. We list them with a short description to give you a rough overview. All modes offer their own advantages and advance you in your FUT career in their own way.

• Squad Battles : Here you play against the computer. No qualification is required for the Squad Battles. Each week you can fight your way up the leaderboard within forty games. The rewards are better or worse depending on the number of your wins. After your forty games, you can of course continue to use the mode to work through any challenges or challenges.
