Also teammate Nathan Aké made a strong game and has a chance to inform.
The reason for Manchester City going it alone is the stumbling of their pursuers Liverpool and Chelsea. The Reds recently dropped three important points against Leicester City. In the end, it was above all Leicester’s goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichelwho gave his team enough support and kept the box clean. Despite 21 shots from Liverpool, the score remained zero in the end. For us, Schmeichel is therefore a guaranteed candidate for TOTW 16.
Besides Real Madrid, the other top clubs in the Spanish league have not exactly cut the best figure this – Season . Atletico also stumbled recently, losing four in a row. That made the 2-0 home win against Rayo Vallecano all the more important. The Argentine Ángel Correa scored an important brace. He scored twice from close range, but in the end it was his two goals that made the difference.
