In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team there are huge price differences in the numerous Team of the – Season (TOTS) promo cards. These are mainly based on the factors of playability, popularity, position and linkability. A look at the most expensive and on the other hand the cheapest TOTS versions of the players in the title of EA Sports.

Moving away from Objectives and Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), we focus on the TOTS cards that can be obtained from regular packs. These are thus freely available on the transfer market. The average prices are based on those on PlayStation (PS4 and PS5).
Million men: Vinicius Junior, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema
Unsurprisingly, world-class offensive players are on the list of the most expensive cards in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. Factors such as popularity and playing strength are basically high on Cristiano Ronaldo’s list, because the Portuguese player stands for many years of consistency at a world-class level. However, the Manchester United star has it all on his TOTS card. In shooting alone, four out of six values are maxed out at 99, while the striker also excels in pace, dribbling and physicality. Players from the Premier League in particular are the most popular and are very easy to link due to many other cards with strong play.
Champions League finalist Real Madrid puts two players among the currently most expensive TOTS cards. Little surprising is the appearance of Karim Benzema. The Frenchman’s numerous decisive goals this – Season have ensured that his team is on the verge of its next international triumph. Accordingly, his stats are similar to Cristiano Ronaldo’s. Left winger Vinicius Junior is also highly rated thanks to his perfect pace and dribbling, and is currently even the most expensive TOTS player.
Prices of the most expensive TOTS cards:
Karim Benzema: 3.2 million coins
Ronaldo: 4.2 million coins
Vinicius Junior: 4.9 million coins
Prices are fluctuating a lot at the moment. The two Madrilenians in particular have been among the newest cards in the game since last Friday and can still change significantly in price accordingly. Comparatively, Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellinbgham has dropped from an initial 4 million to 2.6 million FUT coins. Alongside him, Premier League stars like Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané have settled at prices between 2 and 3 million coins.
Not worth more than TOTW cards: Ezgjan Alioski, Antonio Adán Garrido, Vítor Ferreira
On the other hand, there are TOTS cards, which can be safely stamped as rivets in terms of value. The cheapest players only yield around 15,000 coins.
Among these nearly worthless TOTS cards is the version of Ezgjan Alioski. Although the left winger has rock-solid stats, usually well above the 80 range, he is virtually impossible to link meaningfully. The combination of his nationality (Macedonia) and MBS Pro League (Saudi Arabia) means that most FUT users avoid this card and sell it when owned or use it as SBC fodder.
Another explanation for the low price of Spaniard Antonio Adán Garrido is due to his position: He is a goalkeeper and thus cheaper than a field player anyway. Even a much better keeper like TOTS Manuel Neuer costs only 60,000 coins. Accordingly, the goalkeepers basically appear superfluous in the Team of the – Season .
Special values make Vítor Ferreira unpopular. Although the protugiese is certainly an option for friends of Liga NOS, his weak physique (76) and defense (66) put a spoke in his wheel. Although the FC Porto central midfielder is fast, dribble-strong and pass-proof, he cannot create stability in the back. The price is correspondingly low because there are clearly better alternatives.
