FIFA 22 Title Update divides community

With the 22 Title Update, EA Sports actually wanted to improve the game. However, the patch did not go down well with everyone. There are two camps in the community.

Actually, we’re already used to it. While some celebrate FIFA 22 and are happy about the fat FUT rewards , for example , others criticize the changes in the new game. The new Weekend in particular has been criticized in the last few days, my colleague has dealt more intensively with the problems of the FUT Champions Finals . There were no changes to the rankings and rewards for the title update, but EA Sports wanted to fix the bugged goalkeepers and the too blatant surgical shots. But knowing the FIFA community… no one cares about anything. The community is divided – and we throw ourselves in.

If you look at the changes from FIFA 21 to FIFA 22, you could actually be satisfied. At least on the next gen. The new features were almost all exclusive to the new generation of consoles. For all low-income earners like me – EA Sports. It’s not in the game. Nevertheless, the build-up game was improved, the goalkeepers were stronger ( maybe a bit too strong ), the AI just wasn’t as stupid as in the last few years. Everything could have stayed that way. But nope. EA has other plans again. FIFA 22 just feels like FIFA 21 again. So poop.

FIFA 22 Title Update does nothing better

Anyone who downloaded the update and was looking forward to a good, if not better, game… was disappointed. The gameplay is similar to that of FIFA 21. Far too many goals, spamming skill moves and running passes are just OP. If you appear in your opponent’s penalty area, congratulations – you’ve just scored a goal. Finesse shots are still OP, but that’s a good thing. It also has a bit to do with skill. But the rest? Sounds more like a surprise ball without boosts to me.

Of course there are always different opinions about patches. Especially when it comes to FIFA. It makes sense that the goalie difficulty has been reduced a bit. My hamstrings had quadrupled by the time of the patch, and the unrealistic saves made me jump at least ten times in every game. But does that mean you really have to go straight back to old weaknesses?

But there are also positive voices about the patch. EliasN97, better known as Eligella, praised EA Sports for the title update on Twitter:

As you can see, Eligella sees it as an improvement when almost all shots placed go in. Maybe just want to see more goals at the Eligella Cup . You can see how you want. But when you’re in my shoes and your own goalkeeper hides from every striker with a 70+ shot – you don’t quite understand a statement like that.

EA Sports just went from one extreme to the other. Anakin Skywalker would be proud of that. This is not how you make a game better, but unfortunately further splits the community. What do you think about this?

FIFA 22 – FUTs

What could be cooler than just relaxed gaming and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles. With the Ultimate Team Event cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. However, the FUT Heroes keep creeping into my mind, so here are the best Ultimate Team Event cards that are definitely worth adding to your collection.

Heroes cards selected by EA for top qualities

Admittedly, the FUT heroes will cost quite a bit of coin, but it turns out that EA has once again brought some top-class players into the game when it comes to selection. As a collector and hunter, it’s an added attraction for FIFA gamers to now include their own favorite heroes in the portfolio and benefit from their individual skills. Both in the game and in team building, the FUTs will revolutionize the game once again.

EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME

Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. A lot of playing was rewarded, points could be collected and items, boosts or balls for the individual game modes could be unlocked.

In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game. There is a heated discussion in the FIFA community about whether the game, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, will be free-to-play. This option is said to be on the table for the game makers from EA, because: It seems that EA earns most of its money with the purchases of FIFA Points in the game mode Ultimate Team and not with the sale of the game itself.
