FIFA 22 Talents: All young players with the greatest potential

Looking for 22 talents? We show you the best young players with the highest potential. Whether goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or attack: We have them all.

Only FIFA Ultimate Team is more popular than the career mode. In FIFA 22 we expect again quite a few nice hours in the career. What could be better than leading your favorite club to fame and glory?

Especially thanks to the talents, the career is fun for several ingame years. The players with the highest potential develop from normal or even bad players to absolute world class. If you nurture the talents properly, train them and push them by good performances on the field, they can even increase their potential and become even better than the actual development allows.

The dynamic potential allows many a youth player to go from being an ambitious youngster to one of the best players in the world.

Who you should buy, train and promote, we show you here. And also what’s going on with the scandal case Mason Greenwood in FIFA 22. Since the potential of players changes monthly, we update the article regularly.

After Putin’s war of aggression in Ukraine EA removed Russian players and clubs from FIFA 22. In the May update Upamecano loses a potential point, Sebastian Esposito slips from the strikers into the midfield, the Turkish top talent Arda Güler gets even more potential and there are also new talents coming into the lists again.

The best talents in FIFA 22
Kylian Mbappé is also the high-flyer in FIFA 22’s career mode. No player has such a high potential as the Frenchman.

It should be noted, of course, that in FIFA 22 there is again a dynamic potential. This means that if you train a player with an A ranking consistently and let him play a lot (and play well), he can even exceed his actual potential. For example, you can push a player who actually only has 85 potential even further toward 90 if you develop him properly.

In our list, you can see young mega-talents who cost a lot right from the start. But we also have cheap and inexpensive talents on offer, which you can also get at a 2nd or 3rd club.

We update this article regularly so you always know who the current top talents are. Sometimes players are still devalued in potential after being released. We don’t remove them from the list unless they get worse than 85. Players are sorted by their main position. For example, Musiala is with the wingers (because he is LM), although he can also play ZOM.

FIFA 22: The best TH talents

No wonder Gianluigi Donnarumma tops the TH list. Strange that goalkeepers are abbreviated with TH instead of TW since this – Season , but EA must have come up with something.

Anyway: The goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain is simply incredible and rightly the best goalkeeping talent in FIFA 22. With his 22 years he is just about in the list. However, his potential can break any limit thanks to dynamic changes. If you already have a stable goalkeeper, we recommend Maarten Vandevoordt. You can get the Belgian relatively cheap, he develops very quickly and with 1.90m height he can tackle very heavy stuff. Gavin Bazunu is on loan from ManCity – but you can get him cheap from the 2nd – Season .

FIFA 22: The best midfield talents (ZM, ZDM, ZOM)
When it comes to the best midfield talents in FIFA 22, Golden Boy Pedri ranks right up there with Champions League final scorer Kai Havertz. Gravenberch, Wirtz, Camavinga, Valverde, Mount, Odegaard and Bellingham all make huge leaps from under 80 to 90 and above.

FIFA 22: The best winger talents (RM, LM, RF, LF)
Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior and ManCity’s Phil Foden are the greatest winger talents in FIFA 22! Ansu Fati and Mason Greenwood are shooting from under 80 to 90. And we are sure: Jamal Musiala will be bought and played really often in his career in FIFA 22.

With Kayky from ManCity you can make a real profit. With a market value of 2.7 million, he is cheap – and is developing from a 66 talent to an 87 superstar. Nice talent for the outside!

FIFA 22: The best striker talents (ST, LS, RS, MS)
The cover boy is of course also the biggest striker talent in FIFA 22: Kylian Mbappé is simply the high flyer par excellence. The great thing is that his contract expires in 2022 – you still have to pay a lot, but you get him at his market value and the better you negotiate, the cheaper you get him.

Haaland and João Félix are also letting it rip. If you are one of those managers who need to turn over every penny, we can recommend Liam Delap or Karim Adeyemi for the offense.

FIFA 22: The cheapest talents with the highest growth – Mbamba shaved
If you really have almost no money, but still need young talents that develop excellently, then we have a selection of players for you here that can increase by more than 20 points in total.

FIFA 22: That’s why talents are worthwhile in the career mode
If you want to your team into a top title contender in the long run, talents are definitely the best choice of players you can sign. Sure, a Cristiano Ronaldo or a Lionel Messi bring a certain flair and help most teams right away. But talents and young players can become even better than the two world footballers after just a few years in the game, thanks in part to their dynamic potential.

In Ultimate Team you rarely use talents, simply because the cards don’t evolve. But in the career, with the right promotion, you can turn bronze or silver players into gold players. At least, if you develop them optimally and they reach their full potential.

In short, talent pays off if you plan to be on the sidelines of your team for more than a year or two. After all, a good manager invests in the future. With our list of the top talents, you are well prepared for the future.

FIFA 22: Developing talents the right way – how to increase their potential
In order for your young professionals to reach their full potential, you need to promote them. You can do that by them regularly. Once a week, you can hold up to three training sessions. However, make sure that you don’t just click on “yeah yeah, blah blah, train”. You need to do the pre– Season workouts yourself.

Just look at the best drills for each player position and keep doing them until you reach an A ranking. It shouldn’t be too hard – and you might even learn a little more about the controls in the process. Most of the time, though, training is a chore. It has to be, though, if you want to nurture talent.

Also, influence potential by not letting young talent languish on your bench or in the reserves. Make sure your players are used regularly. However, you should also keep in mind that it is less beneficial for you to get bad marks with your young stars than good ones. So play with extra concentration if you have a lot of talent on the pitch. Good grades after the game will increase the potential in the long run.

FIFA 22: Youth players in career mode
To sign really good youth players, you need to invest part of your transfer budget in scouts. Scouting is in FIFA 22, like in the last years, the key to sign youth players with a lot of potential.

Unfortunately, as already mentioned, you’ll have to spend part of your budget here. The top scouts cost between 3 and 4 million euros in career mode – especially if you start in a lower league, this can cost you your annual budget.
