FIFA 22 Squad Battles: Is the mode worth it?

When I think of Squad Battles I think of…good question, Icon Swaps? Earn awesome cards? Or how boring it is to play against the AI? It’s a mix of everything…

Division Rivals, Weekend , FUT Draft – that’s what I think about when I start Ultimate Team. Squad Battles is somehow always the lone loser . Or? Isn’t the mode completely underestimated? How else would we get our icon swaps, level up the – Season Pass, and earn OTW cards like Camavinga ?

Let’s take a closer look at the mode.

22 Squad Battles: Rewards, Icon Swaps, Glitch & mehr

What is Squad Battles about? It’s a mode where you compete against the computer. The teams are different. It’s sort of the only offline mode in FIFA Ultimate Team. You play it as well as, for example, Division Rivals or the Weekend League for rewards, to improve yourself or to get a break from the exhausting sweaty opponents. But not only that…

FIFA 22 Squad Battles Icon Swaps

read correctly. The mode is particularly worthwhile every year when the icon swaps come. Then you can do various tasks in Squad Battles (for example you have to win 5 games there with a Serie A team) and then you get a swap. You collect these and in the end you can, for example, buy Zambrotta for 7 swaps, Kaká for 15 and Ronaldinho for 21. These tasks are combined from Squad Battles and Division Rivals .

You want to shave in the weekend league? Then we have something for you:

Additionally, playing the mode earns you XP, allowing you to level up your – Season Pass faster. Here you get packs, coin boosts and players. Speaking of players: There are always different cards throughout the year. Even then, the mode is extremely worthwhile. Incidentally, it’s not really fun – time goes by damn slowly against the computer. But we have another helpful glitch for you.

Squad Battles Rewards

Of course there are also rewards. They are available every Monday from midnight. But you have to sweat a lot for crass rewards. Or invest time – it has little to do with sweating. We have listed the rewards in the different ranks for you in this article . But at least it’s a small incentive.

Squad Battles Glitch

How do you pass the time quickly? As every year, there is a glitch that makes the game at least a little more bearable. This year it works like this: you run with a strong player (central defender for example) to your own baseline (the ball should be as close as possible to the touchline), then once you have positioned yourself you just press L2 and shield the ball . The opponent can no longer get the ball and time goes by pretty quickly. But like I said, you have to hold down L2 the whole time.

Is Squad Battles worth it?

In terms of the fun factor, no. We have to say that so hard. There’s just no incentive at all to play against a random AI team, you get really bored to death. Still, we’d say the mode is worth it. Icon swaps are such a nice feature, you can invest some time in them. By the way, this will also start soon, so keep an eye on our FUT section .

Some of the objective players are nice, but SB can also be worthwhile for that. In addition, you get rewards every Monday. And most importantly, you can wind down after a hard weekend league in Squad Battles. So it does have its advantages…

FIFA 22 – FUTs

What could be cooler than just relaxed and doing some sofa sports on the side? In FIFA 22, the player is on the move fast, but without getting sore muscles. With the Ultimate Team Event cards, the collecting instinct is now also satisfied. However, the FUT Heroes keep creeping into my mind, so here are the best Ultimate Team Event cards that are definitely worth adding to your collection.

Heroes cards selected by EA for top qualities

Admittedly, the FUT heroes will cost quite a bit of coin, but it turns out that EA has once again brought some top-class players into the game when it comes to selection. As a collector and hunter, it’s an added attraction for FIFA gamers to now include their own favorite heroes in the portfolio and benefit from their individual . Both in the game and in team building, the FUTs will revolutionize the game once again.

EA SPORTS FC: FIFA GAME SERIES TO BE CONTINUED UNDER NEW NAME

Of course, the soccer simulation game series will not be discontinued completely. After FIFA 23, EA will relaunch the game under the name EA Sports FC and market it independently. Old FIFA hares should now become quite an ear, after all, the EA Sports Football Club used to be a part of the actual game for years. A lot of playing was rewarded, points could be collected and items, boosts or balls for the individual game modes could be unlocked.

In this context, there could also be a complete revolution of the classic game. There is a heated discussion in the FIFA community about whether the game, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2023, will be free-to-play. This option is said to be on the table for the game makers from EA, because: It seems that EA earns most of its money with the purchases of FIFA Points in the game mode Ultimate Team and not with the sale of the game itself.
