In FIFA 22 is currently still the TOTS Mode activated, but some soccer is played in real life. Besides the Champions League final there is also the much smaller brother – the Europa Conference League final. To celebrate the climax of the UECL also in FIFA, EA Sports has released another Showdown SBC. Rick Karsdorp (Roma FC) and Marcos Senesi will meet each other.
If you haven’t heard of Showdown cards yet: they get an additional +2 upgrade if the player’s club wins the match in real life. But of course you can also complete both SBCs and be on the safe side. We show you how you can save coins!
Is the UECL Showdown SBC worth it?
Both Showdown SBCs are pretty solid, even in the late game of FIFA 22, but we expect Karsdorp to be more popular with the community. It’s much easier to fit him into teams and his lowest score is a 70 on free kick accuracy.
He’s already a bit of an all-rounder and definitely not a bad choice for the right wing – especially when given the instruction that the player can lurk anywhere on the field. Also, AS Roma are favorites in the final, so his stats might be a bit more eye-catching.
Senesi, on the other hand, is a fast and physically robust center back who costs a bit less than Karsdorp. If the team chemistry is right, he’s pretty solid as well, and his potential +2 upgrade makes the cost really worth it.

But under which name will the classic game be continued in autumn 2022? As things stand, it is not at all certain that the game will continue to bear the name of the world association FIFA. WHEN WILL FIFA 23 BE RELEASED?
We can’t give you an official launch date for the next part of the FIFA game series yet. EA hasn’t communicated much in this regard yet, so so far we can only assume that FIFA 23 will be released in the period between mid-September and early October 2022, just like its predecessors. In the past years, the latest launch date of a FIFA game was October 06.
