What is going on in FIFA 22 right now? In FIFA 22 the FUT Fantasy Event is still running. The second team of this event is still in packs. Besides that there are also RTTF cards in the packs which have been added as a mini release recently.

However, both groups of cards will disappear from the packs tonight at 19:00.

Normally they would be replaced by other event cards now. Because that a Friday gets along without a new promo in FIFA 22 – that has become really rare by now.

However, if you look in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, there is no loading screen that would announce a new event or any promo cards for tonight. Even with the leaks, which hit the mark very often lately, there are no hints about promo teams at the moment.

Still, there could be some sort of event coming up tonight.

Leaks talk about SBCs and heroes in FIFA 22

What do the leaks say? The Twitter account “Fut Sheriff” has made a name for itself in the meantime concerning leaks in FIFA 22. Also Fut Sheriff doesn’t know anything about a promo team at the moment – but about other contents.

Among other things, several Showdown SBCs will soon find their way to Ultimate Team. You already know them from the past: Here you can choose between two players whose teams will soon play against each other in real life. The winning card will then get a big boost to its stats.

Fut Sherriff talks about a SBC between Barcelona and Sevilla, for example, or Villareal against Bayern

In addition, FUT Sheriff talks about new card variants being introduced: FUT Hero Captain and FUT Captain.

Among other things, this could be improved versions of the current FUT heroes – but this is pure speculation.
