FIFA 22 RTTF Upgrade Tracker: All players of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League and their ratings
Update May 28, 2022: All Champions League, Europa League and Conference finals are League decided and the respective winners are Real Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt and AS Roma. Thus, there are the final RTTF upgrades for Gareth Bale (from 92 to 93 GES), Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Chris Smalling (both from 90 to 91 GES). By the way, there were no RTTF upgrades from the UEL final, as no players from Frankfurt were in the running.

When RTTF players receive an upgrade
FIFA 22 Road to the Finals players will get a first permanent upgrade immediately at release in form of an Inform upgrade. Say: When EA Sports selects a player for the event and gives him a RTTF card. Further upgrades are also possible.
Can RTTF players get further upgrades?
Yes, that’s why they are so popular! Road to the Finals cards are dynamic items and like the FIFA 22 OTW: Ones to Watch or FIFA 22 Headliners can get further improvements according to the rules of an inform upgrade after their release, which allows a multiple increase of their overall ranking during the event. This happens whenever the team of the respective RTTF player makes it to the next round of the Champions League, Europa League or Conference League – even if the RTTF player himself was not involved in the match at all. In total, an RTTF player can receive a maximum of five upgrades. For this, his team must:
- First victory in the knockout round, after the start of the event.
- Qualify for the quarterfinals
- Qualify for the semifinals
- Qualify for the final
- Win the final
RTTF players receive upgrades when they reach the next rounds of their competition.
When are there no upgrades for RTTF players?
- When a team is eliminated from one of the tournaments.
- When the RTTF player changes the club.
When will RTTF cards be updated in FIFA 22?
When new RTTF players are introduced, their cards appear in the game at the same time (give or take a few minutes). EA Sports usually uses a Friday for teams and a Sunday for mini-release for this, both at 19:00. If RTTF players get an upgrade, the map is usually also updated quite quickly in FIFA 22. However, EA Sports keeps a period of up to several days open in case of problems until a “Road to the Finals” update is carried out. The RTTF map upgrades are done automatically, so you don’t have to do anything but wait. It also doesn’t matter if your RTTF card is currently waiting for a buyer on the transfer market or is listed in your club.
