The soccer – Season is slowly getting into the decisive phase: in the Champions League the final between Real Madrid and Liverpool is waiting for us and in FIFA 22 we also have the Team of the – Season – after the TOTY in January probably the second biggest event of the year.

We are really into the TOTS, as you can see in the wonderful overview article, which the dear Lukas Scherbaum has conjured up. With Team of the – Season , it also always lends itself pretty well to predicting the individual players of each league. So… what are we waiting for?

Just take a look at the team… Mohamed Salah, Cristiano Ronaldo, Heung Min Son and many other top stars have made it into the selection. We do wonder about some of the names and ratings though – why is Bruno Fernandes in the TOTS, his – Season at Manchester United wasn’t that outstanding now?

FIFA 22 TOTS Premier League – EarlyGame Predictions

The Premier League is considered by many soccer fans as the strongest league in the world – accordingly difficult is the selection of 11 players who have earned a place in the Team of the – Season . Mal Realtalk: No matter which footballers we list here, someone is always left out. Especially in the Premier League, you can’t please everyone and…. we don’t have to, sorry.

Premier League TOTS Prediction – Goalkeeper

In goal, the only choice for the 2021/22 – Season will probably be between David De Gea (Manchester United) and Alisson Becker (Liverpool FC). We currently expect the Brazilian to come out on top by a narrow margin. Although De Gea is playing an extremely strong – Season and is saving Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. from worse, Alisson is also performing quite well and is still represented in all major competitions with Liverpool.

Premier League TOTS Prediction – Defense

Trent Alexander-Arnold should be in the FIFA 22 Team of the – Season , after all the young Englishman has already provided 11 goals in the current Premier League – Season . Teammate Virgil Van Dijk is also back in top form after recovering from injury and is actually always playing for Liverpool. Joao Cancelo is not only one of the best left backs in FIFA 22, but also in real life.

Premier League TOTS Prediction – Midfield

The midfield is likely to be dominated almost exclusively by Manchester City players – after all, that’s been the centerpiece of every Guardiola team since his time at FC Barcelona. If the Citizens can win the Premier League again, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva will also have a very big part to play.

Premier League TOTS Prediction – Storm

We don’t need to talk about Mohamed Salah, no matter what else happens now, he’s safe in the Team of the – Season . Period. Out. The end. We also see Heung-min Son as a lock, and the only thing we’re not sure about is Cristiano Ronaldo. His stats in the Premier League aren’t bad so far, but they’re not outstanding either, and Manchester United generally fall short of expectations.

For us, it’s a choice between him, Harry Kane and Diogo Jota. We’ll just go with the “safe pick” and take Ronaldo. Personally, I would like to see Diogo Jota, but I don’t even want to get my hopes up…

Some players (first and foremost Mohamed Salah) are set in our opinion, with others you can or even have to argue. Especially in the offense, there are dozens of players who have actually earned a place. Why no Diogo Jota? Where is Mason Mount? Why Virgil Van Dijk instead of Harry Maguire? Okay… that last one was a joke, but seriously, the Premier League TOTS is getting really damn exciting!

Mohamed Salah is set in the Premier League TOTS as said before and should get the highest rating as the best player of the current – Season . Heung-min Son, Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva should also be pretty safe – but EA only knows its own rules and laws.

FIFA 23 WILL BE THE LAST PART OF THE GAME SERIES UNDER THIS NAME

FIFA 23 will be the last part of the game series to be released under the name of the world governing body and in collaboration with EA. For months the rumor mill was bubbling, now all this has been confirmed by the game makers EA in May 2022.
