The Future Stars Event is running in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. Team 1 is behind us. We tell you which players got a Future Stars card in Team 2, which leaks were right again – and: show you how the swap system works and how to get all tokens.
The Future Stars are as the name already says stars of tomorrow. In FIFA Ultimate Team special talents of the soccer world are pushed to absolute exceptional players. In the past years there were various cool versions of young stars at the start. Now we know what the Future Stars are like this year!
We’ll provide you with all the info on the Future Stars. What are the upgrades? When will the Future Stars be in the game? And most importantly: Who gets a Future Stars card?
Meanwhile the event has started on February 4th and there is a token system through which you get rewards. Everything you need to know about Future Stars in FIFA 22 you can see here.
What are the Future Stars? How do the upgrades work?
Future Stars is a list of the most brilliant young talents who are 23 years old or younger and have shown enormous potential, but are not yet world stars and were not included in previous Future Stars campaigns. The values of Future Stars correspond to the value they can reach at the peak of their careers, if they play to their full potential.
FUT Academy Players: The Academy Objectives
In FIFA 21, there were Future Star academy players starting with Team 2 of the event. There were customized tasks that allowed you to get 4 versions of each Future Star item. These versions simulated the player’s rise to the top of their ability. Once you unlocked the first version of the player, you could earn subsequent items by completing various tasks with the latest unlocked version.
Academy players are also included this year. Complete tasks to bring them to their maximum strength. Position changes are also possible.
When will Future Stars Team 2 be available in FIFA 22?
Future Stars came after the big Team of the Year release and have been in packs since February 4, 2022. Team 2 has been in the packs to pull since Friday, February 11.
With that being said, it’s also clear that we’ll have to wait even longer for the Road to the Finals promo. Mainly because apparently the FUT Heroes are getting some love from EA first.
Future Stars: What rewards do you get from the token swap system?
So we get the opportunity to earn tokens and redeem them for rewards. In total, you can get 30 tokens. The “Token Reward Market” opens on February 11.

Jo, there are some real meta players in there. Bellingham is rocking. Wirtz and Smith Rowe have also really delivered this – Season . Other superstars of tomorrow like Adeyemi or Musiala are missing on the list though….
Overall we celebrate the Future Stars though. It’s one of the coolest events, simply because the players are nice.
Future Stars Reunion Players’ Choice SBC
The event also brought a really cool SBC celebrating Future Stars from years past. It’s a cool throwback that goes all the way to FIFA 19. If you want to know how to complete the SBC and which players are in the playerpick, we have something for you.
