The presentation phase of the FIFA 22 FUT Fantasy Event is finished, but this is just the beginning of the hot phase, because the 44 players from the FUT Fantasy Team 2 / 1, Mini-Release 2 /1 and the numerous SBCs now enter the race for the coveted upgrades. With FUT Fantasy, EA Sports is bringing a brand new promo to the game that is strongly reminiscent of last year’s “What if” promo. The focus is on current and future leading players from the top European leagues, who can improve even further if they meet certain criteria in real-life soccer. Below, we’ll introduce you to all the players and tell you how the new event works.
All FUT Fantasy cards from Team 2 / 1, Mini-Release 2 / 1, SBCs and Objectives
Below you will find all FUT Fantasy players of the respective releases. By the way also Christian Eriksen received a FUT Fantasy card – even before the start of the event – because EA Sports once again made a mistake. The same led to the fact that players who already owned the normal gold card of Eriksens, suddenly found the FUT Fantasy card of Eriksen in their selection. The normal version was replaced with the much stronger event card. You can’t draw the card from packs, though, so quite a few players are going empty-handed.

FUT Fantasy Explanation – How the new promo works in FIFA 22
Actually, the birthday event of FUT Ultimate Team should be followed by the “What if” event, but instead EA pushes the FUT Fantasy promo. FIFA 22 FUT Fantasy is according to the name a completely new event, which takes place for the first time in FUT Ultimate Team, but it has a strong resemblance to the well-known “What if” event. So, it’s quite likely that EA Sports simply reworked the old event a bit and now has it take place under a new name. You can find out exactly how the new fantasy promo works below:
